Where have you seen that the airlines cannot give you drinks ???? You, as the passenger, cannot carry on any liquids. The airline can still serve liquids.

I was watching this last night....ONLY in the UK flights/Over-sea flights have they banned everything but the essentials. For US domestic and flights to/from the US, they have banned liquids as well as electronic devices (anything electronic such as a camera can be used as a detanator since liquid explosives are very instable). Anywhere else only liquids have been banned form carry on. Call your airline and verify this every 2nd day until you leave, these guidlines can change with out notice.

Remember, the main terrorist attack was set a week or two from now, yesterday (I'm guessing today as it's 8/11) was the trail run.

Damn, they stop me from taking my coke and they only give me a sip worth an hour! grrrr

There's so much wrong with that post, you sure better be being sarcastic.
First, I think you should be careful how you use the word "drugs".
There's a bit of a difference between tylenol and marijuana.
Second, and most importantly, what you said is exactly the opposite of what you should be saying. You're saying that they should stop checking white people and start racially profiling against other races.
ARE YOU INSANE?
That's the exact OPPOSITE of what should be happening.
EVERYONE should be checked, and racial profiling should STOP.
I seriously hope you're being sarcastic, and if you are, you don't sound like it, and should probably make it more obvious.

Drugs as in cocaine, Heroin. All single white males during the Reagan and Bush years were on the DEA list as targets. I had a Nike Air bag in my shoe cut open so they could check for drugs, Not the open one that you could see. $125 bucks down the drain and nothing I could do about it. The third world counties that made the shoes at one time had someone slip drugs in while they were being made. Not My pair if your thinking. But Why do they have to check my grandma's bra ? Racial profiling, apart from being unethical and argueably Racist, only opens up new weakness. If Al Quaeda can't get the dark, Islamic 'looking' guy through customs, they'll get the white Isalmic convert through with even greater ease - even and thorough checking on everyone is the only way safe.

Anyways wouldn't it be better to take the money out of a luck based technique, and put it into well thought out, planned police opperations like the one we saw yesterday...

Racial Profiling is bad, it doesn't matter what your story is. If someone with a style of thinking like that became president, america would be SCREWED.
Just because whites have been profiled against in the past is NO reason to start profiling against other people. Two wrongs do not make a right.
Oh, and for people that might still agree with you, keep in mind that the message was coming from someone who said "black" as opposed to "african american" in the last sentence.
