Don't you just love April fools day!

The day of the year where you can't tell if anything is just coincidence or just an elaborate joke:thumb:
 
Whether this is a prank or not, only time will tell ( I still think it's a hoax)
Either way, we can be sure of one thing. PokePop is logging on the the gym as often as he can, clicking on this thread, then falling backwards laughing, and rolling on the floor.

On all the days you bring out news, you don't bring it out on 1st April.

Although saying that, the Royal Mint in the UK showed us pictures of the new coins on this day, which turn out to be true.

Either way I think its a APRIL FOOLS!

I do not know if PokePop is laughing but I am and I'm sure the previous owner is to!
 
I'm actually inclined to think that this is real. Despite that fact it has PokePop written in huge fluo letters all over it, it just doesn't seem like a big enough prank compared to previous years.
 
In short, this card is one of a few misprints that were created when the Jungle prerelease Clefable was printed back in 1999. Most of these misprint cards were destroyed, but a very few, around 10, were saved. It is not known how many still survive,OTHER THEN THIS COPY. It is a card that has been on every serious collector's wish list, but until now any hope of obtaining it was in vain.
We are talking about a rachiu card but in this pargraph it says Clefable and Other then this copy which they posted a picture of Rachiu...This is an April fools joke because of the mistakes made in this pargraph.

There are zero errors in that paragraph. But you did make me realize that I didn't write the name of the actual card until the third paragraph. Talk about burying your lede! So, I did edit to put the name in the first paragraph. But read that paragraph again as well as the linked article to understand better what it is saying.

Is it just me or does anyone else find it Odd that Pokepop and Will-iam do not appear on the Gym at the same time?

The Raichu card itself is just a regular card from the base set.
What makes it exceedingly rare is that "PRERELEASE" stamp on it.

Many people have Raichu cards. Only a very, very few have one with the Prerelease stamp on it.

And one of them is now Will-iam.
It is just a coincidence the final exchange for the card happened today.

Will-iam did indeed receive the card today and he has already sent it off to be graded.
This is true. The price is correct.

Thank you to those involved in making this happen. (you know who you are) Together we were able to seal the deal.
