If a person is using T-tar then you might as well go for mega ton tail. To me, Darkness Howl is a move to spread damage but engage in 2HKO with Tyranitar

To me, it's all about the spread. There are other cards besides T-Tar that can hit for as hard or harder then Megaton Tail and easier too. Plus, milling yourself 3 each time isn't always the best thing.
I especially look forward to spreading the pain with T-Tar and then finishing up with Hydreigon.
Well, Donphan and or Serperior builds will be a problem, period, as far as T-Tar is concerned. So against them, ja, Megaton like it's the 'in' thing to do.
T-tar is one deck. Lost Gar is another deck.
You either do one or not pair them up at all.
You know how much work would have to go into using Gengar prime?
There's already lots of room having a 3-2-3 T-tar prime. How are you going to fit in a Gengar (exactly)?
