If you are going to discard cards in the first place then why put them in your deck?

In Stage 2 decks, I like Sage's over Juniper Imo. Have you tested it? Btw I love your list except for Unown.

I'm trying that Variant out though you need to have the right list in order for it to work, like for example Yamega takes care of Donphans and can snipe most things for 40, then sometimes in late games Tyranitar can finish up the work with darkness howl, along side Power clawing the babies, as well as 1HKO'ing Reshirams and Zekroms.

What are good partners with ttar besides yanmega, serperior, or any of the darkness toolbox? Yanmega sounds good but it would jsut be another yanmega variant and serperior we already know its good, and dark toolbox isnt doing to hot. So anyone got any ideas of what could work? It doesnt matter if the poke needs different energy to attack I just want to know what pokemon you guys think tyranitar would go well with.

Why not? Unown D-A-R-K is great for Tyranitar.

Yes, the Unown is good, but it is essentially dead-weight upon placement on the bench.

If Unown D-A-R-K is going to be dead space on the bench why dont you put in energy exchanger instead. you can search for basic or special energy.

I agree with what most people said. It's usable but there's too much to tech for. I could see Switch, Reversal, Scoop Up, and Fisherman being huge for any deck using Ttar in it.

I myself have been thinking Tyranitat/Hydreigon for awhile. now. Still with Absol Prime as the starter.

Lets you search for a Energy if you "Exchange" another Energy for it.

You would need to draw a Energy before you could switch it out with another. A searching card to get a Energy for no cost is something I'd rather use.
