Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

UK City Championship Dates 2006/2007 season

Crewe's cancelled due to weather.

I just spoke to Tom and they've had a massive snowstorm in the last hour, and he doesn't believe there will be any gritters coming. He looked out at the main road and said, "I'm just looking out over a sheet of ice"

He intends to reschedule 3rd March.

He asked me to post this, and will try to contact all those who have been in touch.

OK Thanks, see you there.

Edit: I won. Yey! I love the medal, going to wear it to every tournament now!

I went to the Hackney one, and loved it, although some of the smaller children were slightly annoying... *glares at the one in particular*

I got Absol ex, 2 Banettes (which I love, and have made a deck with already), 1 Armaldo, 1 Cradily and 4 energies (2 x FG, 1 x G and 1 x F) as holos.

Sableye x 2, Wobbuffet, Dusclops, Lanturn, Mightyena, Omastar and Seviper as rares.

So I don't think I did that badly really. Although there was an 8 year old who got about 3 ex's and a star!

And I came 2nd in the Modified - Limited tournament with 9 points. I should've beaten the guy who got all 12 as well.

Then in the Draft I came 5th, and that was much harder as I got terrible cards in that, apart from Absol ex and Cradily, but I couldn't use Absol ex as I got no Darkness or Multi Energies. And I only got 1 Root Fossil and Lileep there too, so I never managed to get Cradily out.

Doesn't matter though - it was great to meet people who like playing cards, and I'm going to the League next week in Finsbury.

Great to hear you enjoyed it, be sure to get to some of the City championships before the season is out, always nice to get another player in the fold.

I pulled two exs and a star. Glad to hear you enjoyed it, the ypung ones get on my nerves as well. This kid had a lot of attitude - spent the whole game telling me how he's going to win making references to mediocre cards as 'amazing' but failed to draw a single prize. It does add to the atmosphere; a little less cuthroat never hurt anyone.

Mine just kept telling me that he was going to win the next worlds with his 'CharZARD ex' deck.

I won at High Wycombe, not a bad tourney actually and a very nice venue. Today also saw the return of Irwin Malek-Chair so very interesting.

How long does it take to drive from London to Crewe? Like 3 hours? If it's not too long I might try to make it up for the day.

Yeh! I should be able to make it, would be great to playtest versus Metanite. I haven't faced nor seen a Metanite deck ever.

Updated - moved completed CC's down - 7 confirmed CC's left and 9 potential ones that we have yet to see confirmed to go -
