I'm expecting most of the older players to stay at the tables trying for the trip to Hawaii.
Families and players with young siblings will probably make use of the free playground and rides. Along with some of the X-3s that figure out they wont make the cut and want to see what the park has to offer.
I expect I'll be able to offer the ride wristbands at the bulk price on the website. (£11)

We have the whole of the Pavilion. some 20+m by 50+m even with the increase in size from last year I expect it will feel full.

thank god its not an 8 hour trek for us scots like the previous nats have been XD Cant wait luckily it is 1 week after the end my exams

David this time well practice our decks months before the event instead of the usual 3 am in the morning of the tournament in a cramped car in the middle of an unpopulated english area

I think swiss means best of 3 but I may be wrong, don't take my word for it

Last year it was single game and the top cut was best of 3.

Due to time it has normally been best of 1. However Ian has the word.

I don't believe that it is my decision to make. I will find out before June.
Without draws I expect that there is just too much risk to the schedule to have 2/3 throughout the swiss rounds. As it is I am not expecting to finish before 11pm in the masters age group so I doubt that 2/3 will be possible but I will know for certain later. It is going to be a long day for some.

The event is now sanctioned. 10-06-000004
Registration will use separate registration slips rather than rely upon completed decklists. A registration slip has your name, Player ID and date of birth written out legibly!
Decklists will be collected during the roster check / player briefing prior to round 1. If you do not have a completed decklist at that point you will receive a first round loss. The roster check takes place after the posted close time for registration.
Optional deck checks will be available for a limited time prior to the start of the tournament.

Anyone who would like to work the event please let me know, I have boosters and stamped promos for staff and maybe some other stuff too. Not all tasks are all-day.

Thanks for the reply Ian understandably the day will be very long for certain people it's just id prefer to say best out of 3 in such a big tournament but either way its great
