Can anyone tell me news about Portuguese men Filipe Cardoso and João Lopes? Thanks in advance. BTW anyone on the meta rulling LCQ?I figure it's a quicker style of decks than it will be at Worlds

I just got a report from a person who was there that Yamato was playing LuxChomp w/ Gardevoir and Purugly, apparently?
 
Hagrid, any news on who got in from Juniors?

Amy mentioned earlier, and Evan from Alberta both have 3-3 records. First year for Evan in Juniors. Edit: Ooops, I was told "less" than a year.

I will say I'm a little skeptical about that but I guess it could happen (still have alot of doubt though)
 
We are 15 minutes into round 7 for the Seniors and Masters.


Here are the Juniors that qualified:
  • Yuuki U (JP)
  • Sota H (JP)
  • Haruki I (JP)
  • Gregory M (US)
  • Yuka F (JP)
  • Shute I (JP)
  • Jeremiah W (US)
  • Kosuke U (JP)
Yuuki was 6-0, all the others were 5-1. All 5-1 players earned invites.
 
Wow, 6 Japanese juniors made it in out of the 8 available spots? Nice! I suppose that means they know something we don't!
 
I heard all 6 Japanese players were playing Yamato's 2004 Magma Spirit deck. Team Magma's Groudon pwn'd everything.
 
My friend confirmed that Yamato is using Gardy, not just Kirlia. He was also told by several people that Purugly was there, but he didn't see it himself. There are also rumors that Quagsire was in it too.

Also, in Yamato's flight there were 6 X-1s, which means 1 won't make it.
