Unlimited combos

I've heard about some combos that always defeat an opponent T1 using the unlimited format. Anyone know any of these? Care to name them?

If that were true, unlimited would be the most unfun thing ever, since everyone would simply use those combos and whoever went second would autowin turn one, since they got to play trainers. However, there are some very, very broken combos in unlimited, including, but not limited to...
• Vileplume ex + good trainers
• Crobat G + Scoop Up + PokéTurn (Good in combination with other things...)
• Oracle + Bill = Double Drawers
• Ridiculous unlimited trainers + anything. Professor Oak, Bill, Misty's Wrath... Daaaaang.

Unlimted is truly unlimited this year. I overheard a conversation about unlimited decks while judging a BRs tourney last month. My head swam with all of the truly INSANE combos that are available now.

To help you discover these combos, try thinking of a favorite poke and hitting up PokePedia to look up what does what :)

Aggron ex (Crystal Gaurdians)/ Aerodactyl (Fossil)/ Dark Vileplume (Team Rocket)... set it up T1 or T2...
you should be good.

Crobat G decks broke unlimited, it's not even fun anymore. Zapdos, Spiritomb, Jolteon*, and several "Scoop Up" like cards are played in it, along with damage placing trainers like Venture Bomb, Poke-Blower, Digger, etc. It's not really fun to play unlimited :/ it's more or less dependant on who goes second.

I wanna try something with Gastly SF in Unlimited since its soo trainer based... 4 Gastly SF, not even bothering with Gengar, set up Dark Vileplume (Gastly should only be out the first turn) and then some sort of attacker (Prolly just something stupidly fast like Blastoise EX lol). Gastly really kills off the "who goes first" part of the game.

I reccomend what Rogue Archetype says, going to PokePedia and searching a favorite. Unlimited should mainly be for fun, since "competitive" Unlimited play is boring. Me and my friends screw around with RS-on ideas... I've tried Tyranitar SF with with Electrode EX and Scrambles. Stuff like that you can have lots of fun with :)

I would love to play this, love the no energy thing. I would be so annoyed playing against this deck.

Mr. Fuji is also a thought for the deck, just never tried it. Diggers could be swapped out for them, they're by far the flippiest card in there.

I play Gastly lock with 4 crobats and all the recycling trainers. Bascially t1 whatever they use and you make it so they can't use about 75% of their deck.

Wow, this is a cool idea! I am going to try building this deck, seriously!

Use Metagross ex (Power Keepers) with a few Pokémon Flutes and a Gust of Wind. Bench two or three of a low-HP Basic, use Gust of Wind to force one of them Active, and use Scanblast to get several Prizes. Since there's now basic :metal: Energy cards, Metagross ex's attack is easier to power up.

Wait, what's the Jolteon for if there are no Eevee? I know it does damage upon being played, but how do you get it out?

Jolteon Ex has the Gallade X power, minus the "has to be active" stipulation, yes. So try that one with Broken Timespace and all those scooping cards. Not fun.

I play Gastly lock with 4 crobats

Hi spoinkmaster,

I'm afraid that even after all this time trying to learn to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game from my grandson, I'm still wet behind the ears.

Could you tell me if "lock" is a Gastly attack (or perhaps a Poke-Power or Poke-body)? And if so, which version of the Gastly card has it?

Bascially t1 whatever they use and you make it so they can't use about 75% of their deck.

Also, I need help understanding what " t1 whatever they use" means.

And finally, which version of Crobat do you use?
