It's not an evil plan by PUI to get more money by releasing 2 reprint sets. DP the videogames are being released in NA 22nd April, so the DP TCG expansion is coming out soon after in NA. DP will be released in Europe late summer (July/August) so they will get the DP TCG expansion soon afterwards.

Lia the DP cards will be released in NA and qualified European players will recieve DP product to playtest with (no clue on amounts or whatnot, but there's always Appr ;)).

The only question remained to answer is when does NA get Epic Collection IF it ever does get it.
 
And also if its going to be Nats/Worlds legal of course, because getting the product is not the fundamental issue :p I know that this is what you meant Pablo, but I have found that while on forums you cant expect common sense to be commonplace.
 
I still think it makes no sense that U.S. wouldn't get Epic Collection, but I've said this before. We'll wait for a PUI rep. to comment on this, but I think that letter/press release, whatever it is, is partially wrong.
 
MY guess is that Epic Collection will not be released in the US, and will not contain any cards that are not already modified legal...
 
I mailed the OP team to ask about it and they are not allowed to discuss/comment upcoming releases, untill it 's officially announced.

So we have to wait untill the part of PUI who are the ones making official announcements is doing so (which are not the members of the OP Team as far as I understand).

I always considered information given by International LD's as being official, but it seems I am wrong.
Makes no sense to me to inform LD's about upcoming releases and forbid your own OP office to talk about it, but that's my opinion.

In fact the LD shouldn't talk about upcoming releases until they are announced by PUI, from my point of view. Of course LDs are aware of upcoming releases, it's a business and they have to order the product WAY in advance, but different thing is to reveal informations. My $ .2

Yes, I agree LD's should be held to the same Non Disclosure Agreement as any of the PTO's, however seeing that they have more or less control over their market, perhaps they are given a bit more leeway. Who knows? Mistakes are made all the time. Perhaps this was put up by mistake - though the info may or may not be right?

It is probably hard for PUI to enforce something like that in 30 different countries. Laws may be different in different countries.

Just guessing.
 
F_S Non disclosure is non disclosure, if it's in your contract it doesn't matter were you live.
Most NDA ends when a contract end or 1-2 years later, some of them remain for life.

I doubt the LD announced something they shouldn't announce, but if they did it's rather stupid.


Added:

I just checked but information regarding Power Keepers was given 30 october which was during the prelease weekends of CG and over 3 months prior the releasedate.
IF Epic comes around end of April there is nothing strange this info is on a LD website, it's about the same timeframe.

#1 we might get LBS :thumb: , pow block, drag trode, BAR, RAMBO,rock lock ...... and all those good stuff u said goodbye to.

# 2 DP1 after worlds? great! How can we adopt to the new rules just few months after the rule change??

(but PUI, i just hope that u guys dont reprint any holo basic energies anymore LOL)

Or, we can forget old decks and hope to see some new and exciting and creative decks instead of rehashing everything. I personally like that idea better.

Though, yeah, ditch the holo energy.
 
That was my complaint of changing the gam rules a month before nats...but what this new news means is that the Video game championship wont have DP, so start your level training, if they reprint desert ruins you might as well forget about all those other decks because raieggs will still be the most powerful deck in the format... none of the older decks can really handle it, and with the addition of cessation crystal which wasn't around for nats it would just crush everything
 
I am hoping for some classics, BS Blastoise, cleffa (EEEEEEEEEEEEEK), Gardy EX (that was crazy), BS Charizard, why not bring back Rock-Lock and Drag-Trode, just to wreck the metagame, I would definately welcome back Acid Liability, or how about Queendom, or how about Feraligatr from Neo Genesis, Please PUI, my old cards want to have one more tournament run.
 
so, there r gonna skewer the rules and mess up the game by adding another mechanic right before worlds?
...silly POP, tricks are for kids...
 
I hope they bright back cards for rock-lock, queendom, LBS, dragtrode, etc. all those good decks from last year. As I came to late in the game to be able to play any of them.
