Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Virginia's 6 2009-2010 City Championship Events Photo Link at end of thread!

AFIK - THe only acceptable references are actual cards and the official (unedited) pokedex.

Card-Dex, RA. You can use WC cards for translations, though.:thumb:

I'll bring a spare Uxie in case you screw it up, Mike.:tongue:

I'll be at Warrenton and Fairfax for sure, and possibly Stafford and Staunton also.

Tim... starting my own tourneys defeats my own goal... to play in them.

You think none of the judges and TOs ever want to play in a tournament?:nonono:

Add PTOs to that, L-ex! So, DP, once you start, you know, running events and all, could you have a few in VA??
:wink::wink:

On a related note, ALL CC stuff has arrived! Oh, the goodies look great!! I'd love to tell you more, but what would be the fun in that????

ALEX IS STILL ALIVE???

Dude, we totally went to VA Beach just to buy you that lunch we promised you!

and... GET BACK ON REDSHARK once in a while too!!

I use Apprentice these days...
I might install Redshark for funsies though.
Sorry about not appearing and all. I got in a spot of trouble that morning.

Well, I've decided to grace the VA tournament threads with my appearance once again...

I think I'll probably be going to the 2 in January, the only 2 I really have time for. It'll be awesome to go to another tournament again after so long!

So as it turns out, me and my main homie Zed will fo sho be reppin' the 757 at Midlo. And maybe Bosley.
Warrenton is a no-go, since I have to move from my old house to my new one that day (no worries, I'm still a Virginia Beacher).
Not too sure about the rest... of COURSE I'll be on the home turf!

Well I'm excited no plans for the others just yet, but I know VA Beach CCs will likely be my first event besides Arceus PR

Everybody tech for Gengar! Tim's comin'!!

(now, watch him be like "how'd he know????!" )

Yup I attend VB League. Trying to think of a good descriptor, but not knowing the people in the rages I could say I'm in Masters. I've been going with my girlfriend who also plays. I had played a Palkia G deck for a bit, then a wonky Electivire FB deck and well I haven't used the new deck yet so yeeeeah.

TO THOSE ATTENDING WARRENTON CC 12/05 -
The Warrenton Christmas Parade is Saturday morning. If you are travelling west on 66 - to avoid the local traffic, stay on 66 to the exit for Rt.17 S, Marshall and Warrenton. Take 17S to Warrenton. When you get to the town of Warrenton, you will go under an overpass. The shopping center with the Hobby shop is just past the Highland school. You will see Rankin Hardware. Take my cell phone number - 703-887-7586- and call me if you have challenges or wnat more detailed directions. See every body tomorrow!!!

So.. around Fredericksburg the snow started... Then it got heavier and heavier... by the time I hit Warrenton, it was lookin' like Bedford Falls (see "It's a Wonderful Life" if you don't understand..) I looked at Pam and asked, "So, are we gonna get 8??"
Despite the snow, we were pleasantly surprised to see 47 tough players brave the weather!! Heck, we woulda hit 60 if the weather had cooperated!!

Juniors:
1st Place Tommy B
2nd Place Nicholas F

Seniors:
1st Place Jimmy M
2nd Place Patrick T

Masters:
1st Place Arron S
2nd Place Luke R

A special thanks to Jav and William for braving the snow to judge, Pam for waking up early and making the trek with me, Mary for being the heart and soul of the Warrenton players, and Sue for opening early for us. You all are GREAT!!

Bravo to Arron!
A BR and a CC already under your belt in your first year of Masters.

...and bravo to Jimmy for always seeming to beat Patrick!

Now I just need somebody to tell me what Arron and Luke played...

Jimmy was ASH KETCHUM in that thing man.

That's the best I've even seen him play. Deck setup was flawless, decisions were on-point.
He could've won Masters the way he played the top cut round.

It was rediculously good.

(yeah... I'm talking about Jimmy!)

Just a quick note to all who plan to attend the Midlothian CC at Battle City Games on Sunday the 13th, please call the store and preregister. This is primarily to know how many tables/chairs to set up. The store is closed Mondays and Tuesdays but I do think they have an answering machine on. Store number is (804) 276-PLAY.

Got it, Zed???
