As of tonight Kim and I met to discuss transfer of the league and I will be the new League Leader once it all runs through POP

Any chance there will some left for drafting at Fairfax? Unfortunately we will be out of town for the holiday weekend, but we will probably be at Fairfax. Good luck to those playing this weekend, hope to see everyone at Fairfax.:thumb:

Jav, we'll keep drafting until I run out of cards!! Yoyo, Kim has decided to move on. League is a big time commitment and she has decided that it is time to pass the reigns. She has done so much for the Tidewater Pokémon scene!! Be sure to thank her the next time you see her.

Totoro hit the nail on the head. Kim wants to take on the spot of a coleader along with Wyatt's dad on days I can't be there. Kim thinks its for the best and actually approached me about this. If you are at the store the weekend after Memorial day it will be discussed in more detail.

I'm planning on coming to both Warrenton and Stafford this weekend. Assuming that I have some extra money, I'll definitely want to draft one of the two days.

I usually don't draft (because the family just wants to leave after the tournies)..

BUT... this set is SO GOOD for limited play man!
If you're ever going to participate in a booster draft, UNLEASHED is the most enjoyable and unbelievably appropriate set for a draft format.

I will be finding time to do a couple of drafts during this BR season!

SUGGESTION/Big Ol' HINT: David, you need to do a MUTANT draft for NATS Preparation purposes!

( super secret special hint for our VA peoples.. Everyone will want to get familiar with using REDSHARK & Hamachi. I can't tell you why, just trust me, download it, and start using it like crazy)

So much going on this week.....Congrats to all the winners of the first two BR's! Two of my boys came in 4th on Saturday, so I'm happy. Thanks to all those who were in C'ville for making it a great experience for me; the oldest said it was one of the funnest that he's been at...*teenagers....lol* Looking forward to being in Warrenton, looks like I will actually be able to make it. Besides, I have some trades to finish, and a Crobat Prime that I am almost certain that someone was looking for. I just hope that my deck stands up to the competition, since I want to play it atleast one more time before I have to modify it with the rotation...Hope everyone has a fun and safe week, and see you on Saturday!

SHE'S DONE SO MUCH FOR ME I'M GOING TO GIVE HER A HUGE HUG

VA tournament?

dunno when I can fit it in. BRs run past store closing as is in many cases. League tourney? Great idea, but tonight is my last league night until post-Nats (my trip, remember )
Tim/William if you guys want to go for this on a league night, I think it'd be great!

And of course, as per usual, Murphy steps in to put a wrench in the works.....*If you are unfamiliar with Murphy, you haven't been around long enough....lol* So, it looks like I am not going to make Warrenton, which royally bites......So if I had a trade to complete with you, please feel free to pm me, and we can work something out....*sighs*...and I was really looking forward to being there too....So, play a good one for me, have a load of fun, and I hope to see you all soon...... :)

Edit: This post was originally about the Nintendo DS I thought I had misplaced at the tournament, but that was a false alarm; I found it here at home.

So now this post is a thank you to Mr. Tuskey, Kevin, and the Princess for running a swift and efficient tournament. No long waiting times between the end of one round and the beginning of another - perfect for introducing two new players to the game. Thanks, guys.

False alarm about the DS, guys. I edited the above post to reflect the fact that I found it.

Also, big thanks to Little Jimmy and Chris for providing cards for our decks, and to Tim for saving the day with extra Dusknoir sleeves.

Playing Pokemon is SO fun !! :)

YAY! We got to go and play ... and then I lost 2 Portfolios that I had just bought :( *sad face* :frown:

but... Totorro found them and is taking them to Stafford so I will have them!!! *return of happy face!*

I took a first round loss because of Tardiness *sadface* :frown:

But... I got to test out my deck against some really good players *RETURN OF THE HAPPY FACE!!*

My wife and daughter took some losses yesterday *... shrug*

But.. they got to play and found out some new fixes for their decks!! *three cheers for NATS prep!*
