Update on Lynnwood and Mukilteo BR's

The Battle Road events are now official. Pokemon is in the Process of shipping out our prize support and we "should" have it in time for the Battle Road at Phoenix Games this Sunday. For those of you who finished in the Top 4 at Comic Stop last Saturday, we will give you your prizes when we see you at the latter Battle Road events.

Thanks for the fun weekend and thanks to whoever lent me the Electrike lol, I forgot to return it to you so I gave it to the TO and he said he would get it to you.

Hi Washington PTOs,

My name is Bidier. I am a Masters player/judge from BC. I'm sure you've heard about the situation we have here in BC. As we are currently without a PTO or a TO in the province, we won't have any Spring Battle Roads. Having been involved in the community for a few years and an active judge for a few events made me feel obligated to try my best and help put back on these Premier events for my fellow players. So I am sincerely asking if one of you can sanction and come up to run a couple Battle Roads in BC.

Being a League Leader at multiple Leagues, I am on very good terms with a number of store owners in the area. I could help you organize the logistics of the events. They are all very understanding of the situation. I know it will be possible to book venues even with this short notice. And knowing the players, they will all be very grateful of your kindness. I can guarantee that the attendance will be more than solid.

I understand that I am asking for a lot; not just your time and energy, but also your faith that this will all be worth the trouble. But someone had to ask; someone had to take the initiative; someone had to be willing to do the work. Right now, I am that someone because I really would like to keep the Premier events going, and maintain the player base while we figure out a longer term plan. Please let me know if anyone of you could help us. You can reply to this thread, PM/email me (jingbidier(at)hotmail.com), or let me know when would be a good time for me to call you and discuss this further.

I didn't know how to contact you otherwise, so I hope you don't mind me posting this request here.

Most Sincerely,
Bidier

Wow I had not Idea that you no longer had any PTO or TO's left in BC, what happened to you PTO I know you had one eralier this year?

I dont know if any tournements can be run in BC at this much of a short notice, but we do have two more Battle Road events in Snohomish County Washington. We are only a little over an hour away fro BC.

This Sunday is the Battle Road at Phoenix Games in Mukilteo, and on the 6th of June is a Battle Road at Wandering Havoc Games in Marysville.

I hope everything gets settled up for you guys in time for Fall Battle Roads, If not maybe we can find out about putting ona Battle Road up in Bellingham for you guys so you have at least one Battle Road nearby this Fall.

I will contact Pokemon and see if I can help you guys out......

FYI...I have run tournaments in BC back in 2005-2006 time frame...BRs. .,..Prereleases....cities.....
