As the plane took off, everyone settled into their place. Some pokémon, knowing the take-off procedure, sat down in seats next to their trainers. Others, not knowing the drill, had to be duct taped to the floor by their trainers or restrained as the plane left the ground. The take-off was rough, but got our adventurers into the air safely enough.

After about five minutes of hang time, the “FASTEN SEATBELTS” light turned off, allowing passengers to roam the Pokémon Class area or stay seated and enjoy the on-board entertainment, Pokémon: the Movie: a Ten year Retrospective (featuring commentary by the Original Cast) and Pokemon: the New Broadway Musical. (If you were expecting real entertainment, then why are you flying out of Business or First class? Honestly, that’s where it’s at, yo…)

Halfway through the first shows commentary, all the lights on the plane flickered and then went out. The doors to the cockpit flew open and an army of Ekans and Arbok burst through the doors, each wearing a white tag. The suspicion level had been high in the plane ever since takeoff, but one agitated passenger could take no more.

“I am getting so damn tired of all these damn snakes on this ******* plane!” exclaimed a dark-skinned passenger in the back of the plane. Samuel L. Jackson, of movie fame, jumped from his seat, grabbed the double-barreled shotgun he’d conveniently snuck past security, and aimed at the nearest Arbok as his finger gripped the trigger…

…as another passenger clotheslined Mssr. Jackson back into his chair.

“Silly actor-who-always-seems-to-pick-horrible-roles-to-act-in,” the passenger said before sitting back in his chair as Sam caught his breath, “Those pokémon are the repair crew for the ship. Let them do their job and we should have lights back on before you can say Alakaz…”

And then the plane split in half from a massive explosion that ripped the plane in half. The numbering on the side of the plane that had been recently decoupaged on fell off to leave “Oceanic Air 81..5” on the side fo the plane and “Pacific” falling into the Pacific.

First, the duct-taped down pokémon broke free and started grabbing the falling trainers. Other pokémon braced their own trainers in hope that they would both survive the fall. And everyone started to go down towards a tropical island in a flaming ball of shrapnel and burning gasoline.
---------------------------------------

After the blackout, a few members awoke because of their pokémon’s persistence. They called out to other pokémon in the area to drag the survivors of the crash to an open area to treat injuries. Using the crude materials provided by the island and also the med kits in the plane, they were able to save 24 of the passengers. Sadly, six of the plane members either died in the crash or were lost elsewhere on the island.

The following players have been added to the Replacements list because they sat in “unsafe” seats:

1. Shadow Zangoose
2. MadHatter
3. ARMondak
4. Shinygyarados
5. z-man
6. metricus
---------------------------------------

As the survivors drug towards the beach, they all had two thoughts in mind:

1. Find food and shelter for the night.
2. Someone sabotaged the plane before take-off and had caused them to crash on the Island for some unknown reason.

And so, sects broke off within the town, each planning on killing one town member before they had even decided where to stay for the night. Formal arrangements could be made the next day. As for now, our group of survivors were truly…

Wow, we all fall out of th sky and everyone is at each others throats?

Snap!

Well, I personally would like to take a moment to discuss what happened before we jump to conclusions.

Besides, aren't there wounded people that need help. (I guess a Chansey would be much sought after right now...)

/note to writer, I liked the duct-taped pokemon, a real nice touch of realism./note

To me, it almost seems like there was an electric pokemon that caused the crash. The power failure causing the lights to go seems to point in that direction. (that or a wild Scyther or something that cut the power lines...)

Just some ideas to be thrown out there.

So far, though, I don't see anything that'll point to any particular person:
