WEREWOLF XII: Cyrus's Revenge!! ENDGAME Planning for next WW game inside

^ I was just thining about that a little bit. It's a good idea and lets the wolfs make the first move. But the amount of information taht you can get from just lynching a townie can be substantial later game.

Day 1 is always a shot in the dark. Often, a townie is killed during day 1, and they are usually innocent.

we should milk this day for as long as possible
noobs stop goin wit the flow
Bandwagoning while the theories are barely even plausible
this is our chance, we gotta take it slow

Diaz, your tactic might actually work better later in the game when the number of players has drastically decreased. From reading Absoltrainer's first post, priest cannot protect themselves. They may ask another priest to protect them. However doing so will rob them of their power. lol...catch 22.
I believe from the last werewolf game, if you roleblock or protect the alpha werewolf, no one will die during night time.
However, there is a third party in this game; former members of Team Galactic..big question is do they still retain their power to kill someone at night?
We still have 5 more days. Why are we in such a hurry to lynch someone?

FYI, I cannot be online this Saturday because I have judging duties at one of city championship.

Guys, let's slow down and not get lost in a cyclone of noobs voting for someone because they can.

Guys, we may want to slow down here. IF he really is the priest, it would be HIGHLY foolish to kill him. I suggest we don't lynch Diaz quite yet, and see if we can have someone with a role reveal power take a look to see if he's telling the truth. If he's not telling the truth, we simply lynch him the next day. I don't see the point in rushing this and potentially losing a very valuable town player.

I have to agree with this.

I won't be able to post much (if at all) this weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) because I am busy with homework, CC testing, and multiple CCs. Thought I would let everyone know.

Whenever you vote in your post, please vote in all caps, bolded, and list who you are voting for:

VOTE: Absoltrainer

Of course, you can change your vote at any time. However, to change your vote, you must unvote (again, in bold), like so:

UNVOTE: Absoltrainer

VOTE: Some other dude/dudette

Of course, you don’t have to immediately vote someone right after unvoting. Its your choice.

UNVOTE/VOTE has to be bolded

Sorry guys! I meant to say:

UNVOTE: Undecided

It would be best to let the wolves make the first move.

I quite like the idea of not lynching anyone on day 1. Think about it. Has a day 1 lynch ever done anything but result in the death of some innocent towni? I really feel this is a situation where it's best to just wait a little and see how things turn out.

Actually, in PB's WW game, they lynched a Wolf Day 1. I know, I was surprised as well.

Well, with that logic, how can a person be saved when they can't use their role because someone protected them? That's why I can't believe how Diaz can be saved during the nights...But if he's the Priest, that's awesome how he almost got voted off. I wasn't really thinking about voting him off, but that comment about voting off the good players did irk me a little bit.

dmaster out.

That was almost completly by luck however.

Reasons stated above and we really don't need to lose a priest day one come on guys think about it. This isn't essentially stalling the game we just need to gather more evidence first.

Let's assume Diaz is a priest. There is another priest that will volunteer to protect Diaz. Therefore, because Diaz is protected, Diaz can't use his role to protect another person. That is what I meant to say.

PB's WW game: that was surprising. The wolf that got voted off on day 1 acted similar to smacktack; where he voted someone because he wanted the day to end.

Whoa, I exit the scene for a couple hours to exercise at the gym and there're like 50 more posts. Although I disagree with a No Kill decision, I do think we should slow down. I have just now observed an explosion of bandwagoning, mainly by the new players. This is my address to the new players.

Attention all new players. If you have not read the entire happenings of day one, or if your memory is fuzzy, I would strongly encourage you to go back and review what we've done today. Think about the big events that swayed the vote. As was said earlier, don't vote just because you can. There are Werewolf veterans in this game. DukeFireBird, Cardzmaster2004, Lucario EX, Ikrit, and even myself slightly.(I'm sure I left out people, sorry =p) If someone makes a big post, I don't want you to automatically vote for who they vote for. I admit, the post and the wording probably makes it look good, and sound like a pretty logical deduction which is easy to agree with. But all this does is encourage bandwagoning, and an election race with the logical veteran players competing for everyone else's vote. I want you ALL to be a part of this game, even if you have a vanilla role. I'm sick of all the skilled vets influencing the vote. Of course it's okay to vote for what they vote for, but think about it. I mean for yourself, not what they say.

Does Diaz deserve another chance? What if he's lying about being a priest? Can we risk that? No kill will slow us down, but is it a good move for day one? Will a better vote present itself if we use the time we have?

Answer these questions for yourselves. Normally I wouldn't post something like this, but there are a lot of noobies in this game. It's okay to be suspicious of some people, and it's okay to follow in the direction of the current vote. But think about for yourselves. The worst possible attitude that should be taken here is "well he's dead anyway, might as well vote for him". If you think someone else should go, vote for them. I want EVERYONE in this game to be a player, who can potentially win.

So, back on topic. As of right now, I'll keep my vote for Diaz. Losing a Priest isn't the end of the world, and I find it VERY unlikely that you are the priest. Diaz, no offense, but just keep your mouth shut for the time being. Not trying to violate any 'gym rules(you ALL should know the one I mean, since you ALL should know the rules) but you needn't say more lest you screw yourself any further. I'll also say I don't support an "I'm dead" attitude. If you're giving up that easily, you really shouldn't be in this game. You had 12 votes for you, and like that you thought it was all over for you.

Annnnnnnd anothah thing. You people are all saying "I don't want to kill a townie day 1". A sad reality you all should all except is that there's little to no chance we'll be able to make a logical deduction and be confident we're voting off a wolf. It's whoever is the unlucky sucker to make the wrong move. Now I will say that Diaz made a bad a move in his logic, which inclines me to think he is a wolf, but there's still no way to be sure.

The thing is, Diaz is a logical player. He used bad logic, but he did use logic. This early in the game, when we have no info on anyone, if you say you're the Priest, will the town vote you off? The town doesn't want to risk it. It's almost a mind game. But needless to say, if you are the Priest, you don't have much longer in this game. If you aren't the priest, well, then you're most likely a dangerous player. In other words, if you are the priest, we've already lost you. If there's a second priest, he/she cannot protect you forever. For this reason, I feel you should be voted off. If you are the priest, I want to strongly apologize to the town, but death for Diaz is imminent if he is the priest and we don't lynch him.

I can't believe how fast this game's moving. D:

I don't know about you, but I find that Diaz freely admitting that he's the Priest sounds like some last second attempt to save himself. Meaning you could be an incredibly desperate townie who wants to make it past Day 1, or a stupid wolf who almost revealed himself. As of now, my vote will stand.

UNVOTE: UNDECIDED
VOTE: DIAZ

Kite, I really think we shouldn't lynch anyone today. If he's the priest, we can find out. If he's lying, we lynch him. He may not be killed during the night. Also, if WE lynch him and he really is the priest, that gives the wolves a shot at our other priest/other valuable players. I would rather not have that happen.

I suggest we don't vote anyone off. Who ever is the Seer can find out if he's a wolf or not, and then we can make our decision based on that.
