Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

WEREWOLF XII: Cyrus's Revenge!! ENDGAME Planning for next WW game inside

^I just find it stranger when both games were and are modded by Absol. This isn't hard evidence, but it's something.

we may assssswel vote no one for now. but be aware, this vote will be taken back insssstantly if ssssomething elssse comesss up.

UNVOTE: DIAZ

VOTE: NO ONE

Whew, I was getting nervous when I was reading through old pages, and everyone started voting for no one. I was afraid that I would not get to voice my opinion before 19 votes were collected.

I don't think that voting "no one" is a very good Idea at all. One thing I think you guys are forgeting is that normally, there are more than one killing roles. If this was a normal game, I would expect two maybe three, but this is a HUGE game. If you ask me there could be as many as four killing roles out there, even if most of them have conditionals or low killing percentages, that could still be dangerous. Think about it this way:

(this is assuming that Team Black Hole is the wolves in this game, even though it could still very well be Team Galactic)
We don't kill anyone this turn:
Wolf team kills some random person that didnt make an impact
Team Galactic kills some random person that didnt make an impact
One or Two Random Vilgilantes kill some random person that didnt make an impact
Thats THREE people we just lost, and we couldnt control any of it!!! And what did learn? Nothing. Sure the seer learned one person's role, sure the detective might have learned one person's role, but its not like they can reveal their information. Then we are on day two. In Absoltrainer's last game there were roles that activated only after a couple of turns, and at least one of these roles was a killer role, which adds in another vigilante role.

Now if you think its bad that three random townies die AND we dont learn anything, AND some vigliante gets one step closer to being able to kill us all in one turn, think about if those three random people were people that mattered! Think about if the wolves or the vigilantes hit the seer or the priest or some other person with a very helpful role.

Voting off townies is a bummer yes, but you guys are forgeting that that is the ONLY power that the townspeople have. By voting off players we can see who is teamed up with who when they are faced with the choice of "risk being voted off for defending someone" or "risk losing one of my team members"

This post is long enough as is, but I would like to add one more thing. Everyone talks about how much they hate bandwagoning, but voting for "no one" just because someone else did, and that sounded nice to you doesnt mean its not bandwagoning. Remember that just because voting "no one" is the "safest play" as PkB put it, doesnt mean its the right one. The only way to avoid townies dying is to kill everyone who wants to kill them.

shinygyarados, you're missing something very important with your night kills probabilities. If there are THAT MANY people with kill roles, it is likely that one of the kill roles will kill another kill role, which helps us. I still believe that voting for "No one" is the best move at this point.

Don't have time for a long reply atm.

SG, there is NO way that there are that many killing roles in the game. You're logic is flawed. Our odds of actually hitting one of these killing roles is slim at best. If anything, we'll just lose a townie.

Not exactly DP. Remember, we have like thirteen more than the regular amount of players. There could be up to maybe six people with killing roles. But if you remember passed games, although there never a set exact number, no more than 2 or maybe 3 people are killed a night. Not all roles that allow a kill are a garuntee kill. In fact, some are going to be very unlikely. But there is a good chance there will be more than the usual killng roles. Right now, I am still strongly against no lynch, and I think this is what the wolves want, but unfortunately, there is no evidence to say that Diaz is a wolf. Diaz, I'm letting you go for now, but I think no lynch is the wrong decision.

Kite, I'm not exactly the biggest fan of no lynch either. However, do you have a better idea of who would make a good lynch? As it stands, we're more likely to accidentally lynch a townie/other harmless role, than actually kill a wolf/dangerous role. Worst case scenario is we could wind up lynching our Seer, or other priest. I would really rather just go no lynch, see what happens over the night (absol gives good clues in his updates), and make our move on day 2.

I've just noticed a slight contradiction.

First of all, Absol has always struck me as a very organized person. However, I could be wrong, however. In post #339, Diaz says that his role is the character of "Sabrina". In Absol's last game, the character of Sabrina was given to the seer. It does not seem like Absol to make that kind of mistake. Diaz, do you have any explanation, or was this a mistake on Absol's part?

Here is the post from his old game for reference: http://pokegym.net/forums/showpost.php?p=1248623&postcount=507

This sends up a huge red flag for me. My role is exactly the same as one from Absol's other game, including the character name. I see no reason why he would have changed the Priest role.

For me at least, this pretty much confirms my suspicions about Diaz. If anyone has an explanation for why Sabrina would be the Priest, and not the Seer, please post it. As well as anyone else who has an exact role from WW IX.

My suspicion has also increased. Absoltrainer said he made final changes to the roles. He wouldn't have made that mistake. Of course, he did admit that he would be messing with us during this game, so perhaps he meant it fully. I am just very confused, and I hate the fact that know we've got to decipher who this Diaz guy is.

PKB: I think the issue is that Diaz states that Absoltrainer said that his role is Sabrina the Priest. However, in previous games, the role of Sabrina was a Seer therefore creating a conflict in role names. This may be Absoltrainer messing with us, Diaz trying to save himself, Diaz messing with us, or an accidental use of Sabrina's name for a "Priest" role. This is deemed suspicious by this Werewolf community after Diaz's first post, his stating of being a Priest, and the conflict of the roles. I hope this helps.

Diaz: My vote still stands as is (unless some other information arises). I may be a n00b in this game but, I think I am now gaining a better grasp on how to play this game better (after a few mistakes:p). You just seem too suspicious not to lynch. I just don't see you having the priest role because it seems like a last-ditch chance to save yourself (which seems to be working atm imo).

Everyone: I think it is best if we lynch someone. This is the only role the town gets and if we don't abuse it as much as possible, the wolves will just gain an advantage. It doesn't necessarily mean to vote for Diaz or to bandwagon on "No Vote" but, it does mean to make the best possible vote but, not right away. I may very well change my vote to someone else who is suspicious (if a new suspicious post [like Diaz's first post] arises) but, I still don't want to leave the wolves a "freebie" kill night. Take this view into consideration.

So, haven’t had a chance to post in a while, and still don’t have time to cover everything, but…. The “Sabrina” role isn’t a completely run-of-the-mill priest. There are some (minor?) changes to it. I don’t want to reveal any more than I have because wolves are reading. I think that Sabrina’s story line lends itself to a host of different possibilities. I could have seen absol giving Sabrina an even more crazy role. I don’t think absol would tie his hands to having to make Sabrina a seer every game.

I’m not saying its not an inconsistency, or what you guys have brought up is incorrect, but I think the conclusions people seem to be jumping to aren’t great. There’s an inconsistency in what Sabrina does from last game to this one, not something to get worked up over. It means that we can’t take so much information from last game’s roles, if anything.

Also, I'm not a fan of the no vote, but can't think of anything better. Thus I havent voted.

IMPORTANT NOTE PLEASE READ

Guys, it appears that some players are "going around the bounds of the game"
They are watching profiles to see who PMs who to see who is working together.
This is a pretty bad sportsmanship move. I don't like it because it takes away from the actual game by literally using outside sources instead of clues and roles within the game.

So, if you would like to NOT be seen online, and KEEP YOUR PMing and OTHER ACTIVITIES a SECRET, I advise you to follow these instructions

Go to User CP --> EDIT OPTIONS -- > Check "Use Invisible Mode" Box --> Save Changes

This will prevent anyone from seeing your current activities (even last activity), and when you were last online. It also prevents people from knowing WHEN you are online.
The other option is speak ONLY through AIM or E-mail to prevent this and don't even bother PMing people.
I strongly urge EVERY player to do this to keep the game good and fair.
If I hear of ANY more players doing this I will modkill on the spot. I have sources to, so don't think you can do it without me knowing.

ALSO

Do not assume that because somone is not invisible they are a townie. (some people may just go invisible to read or write PMs and then go back to visible)
Do not assume that because somone IS invisible, they are a bad guy (I know a bunch of townies are invisible too)

Diaz: like I stated, I am also not a fan of a "No Vote" but, you are the one who strikes me the most suspicious atm. You may be off the hook if someone else posts something more suspicious though (which seems highly unlikely). My vote still stands as voting for Diaz.

No Vote? Seriously, you're even CONSIDERING it?

Not voting anyone will not get you anywhere. It will only get you to night 1, and to day 2. Not voting just prolongs the fact that we need to pick someone. We should just vote Diaz off, I think he is lying anyway.
Vote: Diaz

Smells like a liar.
