Werewolf XIII: Ascension of the Packmaster (ENDGAME: See Post 812)

Lakak is amazingly suspicious. Just, the wrong way. LYNCH ME LYNCH ME

I'm thinking about lynching Hurricane, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, he is a sibling with another player - strikes me as dangerous to have two players, either of which may be a wolf or some other important role, able to just tell each other and talk to each other when we are not supposed to be able to do that.

Secondly... Who comes in halfway through the first day and makes their first post, OH LOL I GOT MY ROLE! If they aren't taking this seriously, and we don't have any other strong leads to go on but we have to pick someone... Pick him!

You notice Lakaks last post? Instead of vote it says Shoot. Wonder why? He also does seem to want to be lynched and I agree with DP about not lynching him yet.

Well, I didn't want to bring this up this early but, I am in a group with Hurricane and Kezzup (what are the odds?):

Now, we are thieves, with me being the leader, and we have an interesting ability, the ability to steal an item from a player and then move it to another player of our choice.

We are allowed to contact each other and FYI, I am the "leader" which means I get to decide the final choice of the item moved

We are also towns-based, which means we can be of great aid to the town. Sometimes an item has an after effect of something negative (I think I remember an item that killed someone last game, but I could be wrong), which means if everyone helps me out, I can move that specific item to someone if the town helps.

I am only posting this to save my brother considering I would rather have as many of this role in the game (I think if I get lynched the thieve role gets passed down to the next in line aka Hurricane or Kezzup)

So, I hope you can understand why I would put all of this on the line to save my bro but, it's the truth. If you lymph him, it doesn't hurt me at all but, I would rather have another towns-based person in this game with an interesting role than let's seem uh, erm well... A WOLF lol.

One more thing, I also haven't talked to Kezzup yet so I will let him role reveal to me to see if he is a thief and not some other 3rd party mixed role (This also happened last game, 2 of group X, 1 of group X/Y). As far as I know though, he is a towns-based thief like Hurricane and I.

^Hopefully this whole post is "relevant" and isn't passed off as being "noobish"

I am also willing to answer any questions/concerns you guys might have.

*Headdesk* *Headdesk* WHY!? Kayle only mentioned Hurricane once. It's not like he even has any say in who's voted off today. IMO, you didn't need to role reveal and this was not a smart move, especially if your role is what you say it is.

Smacktack was just an idiot, but, it seems an honest idiot. *facepalms*

Any suggestions on who to vote for? I'll be out most of the day, but I'll be able to catch up on everything and make a longish post touching on a few things I've been wanting to talk about.

Smacktack, was it a good idea to role-reveal day one? And you said it was to save Hurricane, yet only one person said anything about him. The only person who can lynch him is DarthPika and he won't just vote him without saying anything. So why let the wolves know the roles of THREE PEOPLE when he was in no danger?

Seriously Smacktack? Seriously? I JUST FREAKING SAID WATCH YOURSELF. Think before you post. Are you REALLY going to role reveal not one, but THREE people because one of them was mentioned in a post? Lakak voted to 'shoot' me. You don't see me role revealing just so no one will jump on a bandwagon with Lakak. (right, like that would happen, I know)

While not happy with Smacktack, it's going to come down to lynching a non-veteran player (can't take chances that big this early in the game) who has made a wrong move or been inactive or SOMETHING. I still don't think it's necessary to lynch Smacktack, though one more move like that and I don't know what I'd think.

Honestly, I'd like to agree with Ikrit's idea about Jason, but I can't say I'd have a legitimate argument myself. Other opinions?

147.

And the award for the worlds most unprovoked role reveal goes to....well you already know. It seems that smacktack is almost certainly not a wolf, although as always, I dont trust mason groups like that to be completely innocent. In far too many werewolf games, at least one ends up being a wolf.

Id lean towards voting off someone who is inactive. If roles truly are random (I still have my doubts), then the inactive players are as likely to be anti-townie than any other player. And if they happen to not be wolved, then we are only eliminating someone who isnt being / wont be helpful anyways.

Also, Lol at pikamasters post.

Guys, was my role reveal needed? No it wasn't.

I figured I would speak up and state why Hurricane (my brother) is important in this game.

I figure I would have to speak up now or later so why not get it out of the way? At least everyone knows ATM. Now if a person wants me to move an item from person A to person B, speak up.

If I never spoke up "we could have been wolves" to the eyes of the town eventually, at least everything is out in the open.

In this case, I would also like to ask for priest protection until someone else has a more important role that is revealed. At least I am one more person that will keep the wolves guessing if they find my role important enough.

This still doesn't make sense to me. It's still only day one and DarthPika had given no indication of even THINKING about Hurricane... And couldn't you have at least kept one member of your group a secret? Or told let Hurricane post saying his role and let him say that he's in a mason group with x amount of people, but not say who? IMO, this has just hurt you more than it helped you, now you have the wolves to worry about instead of the slight possibility of one of you getting lynched. And even in the case of lynching you could've done your role reveal then...

But you did it, so I'm just going to stop talking about it, it's not helping anyone to do so. I'd rather see constructive posts that actually add to the discussion, not more posts that tell smacktack about what a bad move he just made.

I think that smack isn’t smart enough to make this up. I don’t think he has hurt the town that much with his role reveal. I think we shouldn’t lynch anyone in the group. I think that someone in the mason group is probably a wolf (as per tradition). I think the priests should certainly not protect anyone in that group at night.

Assuming we leave the mason players in the game: The wolves could go after the players in the mason group. This just means that we lose bad players who don’t help the town. Also, they risk revealing any wolves still in the mason group.

Now that we have these three players out in the open, we can focus our lynches on other players. We can also direct our priests and seers away from these players. We can deal with them later if the wolves decide to take them out.

For the sake of it, Hurricane and I are not wolves, we are towns. Now I want Kezzup to role reveal to me exactly in private because it should be the same as Hurricane's wording.

Also, if one of us gets lynched, we all don't die like some other groups.

Diaz: You also got part of what I wanted to do, leave more possibilities of a wolf lynch. We need to narrow down our choices based off whatever information has been revealed, including my role reveal.

Well I wasn't going to put it that way, but this is pretty muchly why I believe Smacktack is telling the truth. There's always the possibility that he's lying, but knowing Smacktack he wouldn't do that on his own, and the wolves can't communicate until the night, so my guess is he's telling the truth.

155.

It certainly would seem that smack is telling the truth and that he and hurricane are townies. As for kezzup, Id lean towards believing hes a townie at this point. Im well aware of the past tendencies of mason groups, but intuition tells me that hes not a wolf. So, I suggest we leave that for later. Priest groups should randomize protection to the best of their ability.

Don't be so sure on the last part,

Yikes. I had no idea. I take that back then. o_O That's really weird, I always understood the WW rules to be that it was only at night. My bad. I still believe Smacktack however. Unless has anything suggesting otherwise.

im confused... what kind of importance, would a 3 group mason role, which changes items do?, for a starts it seems the other members dont do anything, and really, swapping items....... I personally believe smack is lying about this, furthermore he said that he thinks the person who chooses who to target will be passed to hurricane/ kezzup, if he is killed. Finally i was part of a mason group last game, with the same kind of effect except each individual player had a role, whereas from what smacktack says, they have 1 role between the 3 of them, which would seem a huge waste for the town, and that provided this is true, then kezzup/ hurricane are just cannon fodder with no real purpose......

People.

Smack is obviously a werewolf or not very smart.
Either he is stirring up all this 3 in 1 thief nonsense to throw the town off as a wolf or a very dumb townsfolk that can be lynched with little drawback. Or perhaps he is trying to put the spotlight on himself so his fellow wolfs go by without attention.
