Werewolf XVIII: Dimensional Clash: Wolves/Outlaws Win!

That was the fault of the town. Cabd should never have lived after I flipped town, but the town was playing badly and never lynched him. Waynegg came forward and explained what he was doing. Cabd never did. there IS a difference between the two situations.

Sour grapes much? And why would someone explain why they are playing aggressively, whether wolf or town, unless they are playing over aggressive.

Just because I don't think it's a good idea to vote him based on what I know about him it's suddenly vet reverence? This sounds an awful lot like "you don't agree with me, so it must be bad". If you can use the known experience of a player to get a read off of them, why shouldn't you?

Perhaps, but this isn't the first instance, of you possibly 'buddying' him. Both you and Benzo seem rather quick to agree with him and defend him, you more so than Benzo.

Sorry about the lack of posts, unlike PF5 I sleep, so most of what I go to post when reading through the thread gets said by the time I'm at the last post. I'm not fence sitting per say, there's just been nothing constructive to add. On a side note, my "deceptively scummy" reads don't warrant mentioning because like I said, they seem pretty over-eager to me (and I'm the one who saw them), so I'm inclined to wait for one or two of those people to post again since at this stage they're about as active as myself.

While I don't see Waynegg as entirely clear and off the radar part of what I've noticed is the potential that he has been stalling the day for a no lynch, possibly to do with allegiance to Vablakes. Either way, Vablakes' flip could prove useful or wasteful but at this stage of the game we have nothing more to go on other than those scum tells already mentioned and with such a large number of people any information is priceless information.

As such Vote: Vablakes

VOTE COUNT:
41 Remaining
21 to lynch

Waynegg- 6 (Glaceon, Thunderjolt, JewelQuest, Diaz, Vablakes, Your Face)

Vablakes- 16 (Scorri, StrongRhino, Jpulice, Pikajewel, Prohawk, DarthPika, TheKing, Dave628, Eclipse, Waynegg, Human Destroyer, Sandslash7, Dragonclyne725, Pokemonfreak5, SMP88, Benson)

Shinori- 1 (Crimsonsky)

Dragonclyne725- 1 (G landers)

PMysterious- 1 (Pokemonplayer101)

Sandslash7- 1 (Benzo)

Remember, the day ends in 4 hours and 20 minutes from now (7:35).

Meh. Looks like it's going to be a Vablakes lynch after all.

Unvote: waynegg
Vote: Vablakes

Since I probably won't be on when the day ends.

Not quite sure what you're trying to argue here.... Cabd never came forward to explain WHY he was so over aggressive when he pushed for my lynch. Waynegg came forward and presented exactly what he was doing. Do you see the difference?

I almost always defend a player before I decide if I think they should be voted for or not. This is nothing new of me. I'm a cautious voter, and like to make the best vote possible, meaning I don't like to rush into things. I presented my reasoning of why I think he's not scum, as did several others. I'm not sure why you're attacking me for it.

GUYS WE MUST GET OUR VOTES IN! IF WE DO NOT GET ENOUGH VOTES THERE WILL BE NO LYNCH!

Just a note for everyone. Post #1032 will be edited by a mod because it broke the site rules. There is nothing you will miss out on by reading it now, no advantage gained by knowing what it said before. It is simply being filtered a little.

Please remember to keep it clean. Thank you.

I've been busy this winter break, and even when I posted to say I would make a bigger post, I wasn't able to. I do not have time right now to analyze everything and make any large post. I have not fully read the argument regarding Waynegg however I HAVE gone back and read about Vablakes. I made a case against and wanted to see Vablakes lynched Day 1. I don't have time to repost all my arguments, but I have more than once made a case against Vablakes. This is not a bandwagon vote, I wanted him dead Day 1, and nothing he has said today has made me feel any differently about him.

Vote: Vablakes

I will make an effort to analyze today much more when I get a chance, but for now this is all I can offer.

The problem is, we have no idea whether or not waynegg is telling the truth. So, his whole 'gambit' could be as fake as cabd's role reveal. And honestly, I never saw cabd's push for your lynch as being, 'over aggressive', so there is a difference.

Perhaps, but defending a player is not the way to go, if you yourself aren't sure where you stand.

I'm not going to waste time arguing this with you, as it's doing nothing to help the town. If you can't see how what waynegg did is vastly different from what cabd did last game, then it's your own loss, and will hurt you AND the town in the end.

I would like to apologize to everyone for the abbreviation I used; I am usually pretty careful when it comes to keeping it clean. It won't happen again, I can promise you that :thumb:

-In Game-

This is probably the last post I'll be making before the Day ends. We still need 3 more Vablakes votes to end this.

All right, seeing as this will be my last post for the day, time to post more details about my role.

It mentions Latios.
My role is passive.
I can't be NK'd on certain numbered nights.
I have a "Town Wins" wincon.
My ability is called Levitate.

Sorry guys, can't post more, about to go to a massive party that is going to last until 6 AM.

I just want to let you know, fellow townies, I'm sorry if I am lynched. If I am lynched, look into those who pushed for lynch on me very agressively. Try to pressure them for reactions. I revealed that I had a night role, so some people that know that I'm not on their team might want to push lynch on a town PR. And, please, stop this cruel Pokemon torture. <-that was a joke, in cas you didn't catch it.

That's actually worrying in the fact that we very well could have a twin role and quite often twins die when their counterpart is lynched.

All I can say at this stage us A: I hope that's not the case and B: If it is, they still possess the "Pokemon Win" condition.

Thanks for waiting! I hope you will find this, now or later, worth it!

My farewell post was more epic, but some of the stuff in it just can't be said yet.

This is what I've been able to cobble together:

Non Wolf

  • Me- Duh!
  • Scorri
  • Benson
  • Benzo
  • Darth Pika

Likely Wolf

  • Glaceon- post 924, advocating voting out players with Pokemon names, even though it was quite clear by that point that character names don't necessarily reveal your alignment. also, what Benzo had to say in post 1004.
  • JewelQuest- popping in to join bandwagon
  • SMP88- nothing but a strong gut feeling, don't forget him if it comes down to end game
  • Diaz- admittedly was going to defend me when I looked scummy, but was ready to lynch me once I revealed my ploy
  • Sandslash7- as enumerated in posts 993 and 997. again, what Benzo noted in post 1004
  • Human Destroyer- rushing the vote for a quick bandwagon and early end to the day phase. been looking scummy to many all game, too many posts to point out each one.
  • pokemonrocks777- if I'm nailing JewelQuest for pop voting, I gotta nail him to. post 1021.

So, in case I don't make it through the night, I leave you with 2 lists. My personal working list and a list of those who rallied to vote my way during my gambit. Please don't send a priest my way tonight! With that said, I should probably say my werewolf prayers:

If I should die before I wake, I pray the town SS7's life to take.

Sorry for that Waynegg I need to Look at everything before I who I need to vote for... sorry about that

UNVOTE: WAYNEGG

I'd just like to note that waynegg has scum reads on people that voted him after he revealed the "supposed gambit" or remained with their vote on him and town reads on people that unvoted him and Benson.

And on day 2 it probably is, but if I'm killed in the night phase this is my last chance to post my thoughts.

1055
If it makes you feel any better, there are 2 others I have suspicion on. They only weren't included because I would have had to role reveal for it to make sense. Like I said, my farewell post (in case I were the one to die today) was more epic.

Well I suppose I would feel better if you didn't blatantly softclaim, but I suppose I can deal with it.

I can put those differences behind us. For science.

(Disclaimer:That is not my character)

By the by, I've read about town quicklynches that worked well, so, especially considering we were relatively close to deadline anyway, I don't see how it's a scumtell.

This has nothing to do with this particular game and shouldn't be regarded as such. I just want to explain the difference that HD questioned.

Town Quick Lynches

Late-mid to late game, when there is plenty of circumstantial and even concrete evidence at times, quick lynching can work extremely well. There's often no reason to drag the day out.

Early game, especially in games of this size and larger, it's important to make good use of every day you have so you can interrogate, look for tells, find clues, use logic and deductive reasoning, etc. In other words, as town you shouldn't end an early game day too early so you can maximize the time you have to learn stuff. In the early stages, the only group who gains from an early lynch is the wolves/scum.

Hope that helps.

As Waynegg spoke on above, quicklynches early game can give to good leads on scum, but can be quite harmful to the town. Later game when seers have claimed or there is good evidence, quicklynches can be used without as poor side effects.

Wayne, I've already explained my comment to Benzo (in post 1029). His "reason" is hardly strong or logical.

Nor are your posts 993 and 997 any arguments against me. I was and am making valid points against your use of the gambit, as well as your other attitudes and rhetoric. Again, you have yet to answer my questions.

Please do not keep ignoring the questions I am posing to you.
