Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

What do you think will be played at Worlds?

machamp cant beat gengar
gengar cant beat luxape

speedrill can beat machamp and possibly gengar, but it looses to the most popular decks
mesprit lock kills it
fire weakness
power spray

would be foolish to play anything beyond sp,

While, I am not sure what the best choice for Worlds is as stated before, I have a deck that beats Luxape, Palkia Lock (70/30), Flygon (40/60), Gengar, and Beedrill. It should be able to beat GGW if I see it. I could see it having issues to Machamp because of certian things, but that is more because I don't run much Psychic then anything else. I feel that a deck that has a decent matchup against most of the format is the play. You're not going to be able to beat everything, so just make your deck the best deck you can for what you expect. If you end up trying to play a deck that beats everything you're going drive yourself nuts.

Oh I don't think so. Mother Gengar is nothing for a skilled LuxApe player.

Regardless of player skill, if this is your result, then you probably haven't played enough games of the matchup.

Not to say I disagree with you, but I find it interesting that you hold an undefeated record versus something that beat four Palkia variants in order to win the US National Championship.

haha, ur right, i have only played a handful games against Luxape. But I have played 5+ games against it at least, and never recall losing a game.
But, you are right, it's all personal experience and really shouldn't have an impact on what other people think of it.

If you don't state the deck, it isn't real.

My deck could be Blissey/Cresselia X, it dosn't need power draw so much so Claydol can be 1-1 TeCH and Uxies can be low too. Enough of draw and it will get the job done.

My list:
4-1 Blissey PT
3 Blissey MT
2-2 Cresselia X
1-1 Claydol GE
2-1 Uxie X
1 Pachirisu GE
1 Azelf LA
=19
4 Bebe's Search
4 Roseanne's Research
4 Felicity's Drawing
4 Buck
=16+19=35
2 Moonlight Stadium
3 Premier Ball
1 Luxury Ball
2 NM
3 Warp Point
=11+35=46
4 Call
9 Psychic
1 Fighting

This maeby doesn't see much play (if at all) but Blissey will be there. Speed version can easily include 2 Pachirisus and 4 Healers, 4 PPs and 4 Bucks for extra damage or heal.

Of course Luxape and Palkia will see the play but will there be rogues that can beat them? Maeby, who knows.

If you don't state the deck, it isn't real.

If you say so.

Here is my thoughts on Worlds.

I expect there to be a bunch of decks however, I feel that for Masters 70% of the decks will be SP variants.

I expect that the other 30% will be everything else.

I also feel that less than 10% of the players will be playing Mewtwo Lv. X and/or Machamp as most players in the USA have realized that they don't help against SP as there are too many ways around it, which leads me to believe that that they won't see much play. I think that if they see any play, that those players won't be making cut. I really can't be sure either way, but from most of my talking to players who will be trying to Grind who are very good and made previous Worlds and those who are actually playing all have the same thoughts on this.
