What Instuments Do You Play?

most complicated instrument? vocals

100% true. Hardest piece I've ever had to sing? Bach's first motet("Singet Dem Herrn ein neues Lied"), hands-down, in terms of note progression and the concentration required. Hardest to sing in terms of vocal range? Chesnokoff's "Salvation is Created." Hardest to sing well? Charles Ives' 63rd Psalm.

I playyyy

the Euphonium (dunno, I have not seen "really" difficult sheet music for it)

Sax (not good at all to know)

Piano (Probably "Revolutionary" by Chopin)

I play
Piano, and i think the most difficult piece i know could be Full Moon [Sonata Arctica], My Inmortal[Evanescense] or Fur Elise [Beethoven]
also i play Acoustic/Electric guitar and play songs from Incubus, Creed, Van Halen, Sonata Arctica and Stratovarious. Really don't know what could be the most difficult to place, cause all are a challenge[I'm kinda n00b on guitar  ]

I play the trumpet band class and have been playing
for about 5 years andthe most difficult thing i currently
play is a version of The Stars and Stripes that is sooo rediculusly
difficult to play its sad.ive got a super B on the third (and easyiest)
part of all the trumpets and the others have to go even higher!?!
Im also beginning to learn the guitar but so far im horrid at it.

I've played trumpet for about 8 years, since 5th grade. Man it's been a while now that I think about it.

The most difficult song has been Symphony in E Flat, I think. I don't remember who it's by...I'll have to check.

i play the piano... um.. hardest piece to play ... the Entertainer.. lol ...

That's always a laugh when it gets messed up.

Interpretive Jazz is fun, you can just fall asleep on the piano and recieve applause. =D

I play piano and guitar
I've played piano for about, 6 years or so, I find that songs with a LOT of syncopation (or however u spell it) r harder. Because not only do you have to worry about the notes and dynamics, etc. But it takes a while to figure out the counting. A lot of the time I just have to "feel" it cuz i'll drive myself crazy if I count it.
I just started guitar in like, August i think??? somewhere around there, so it's not that difficult yet. I'm still doing a bunch of basic chords and picking patterns etc.

Wow... I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet...

I play the Ocarina!

Yes, you heard me, the same instrument Link plays in Ocarina of Time. And it looks pretty similar to the one in the game. Its actually thought to be one of, if not, the oldest musical instruments ever made.

It takes some getting used to but its really cool. And almost anything is pretty easy to play on it thanks to its unique style of sheet music.

Aw. Nobody's got my instrument. I can play the French horn, mellophone, and trumpet. No clue what the hardest piece is.

w00t long list ahead.

tuba(all area, ooh right)
violin
percussion(except timpani, dern thing)
french horn(I prefer the mello, as the partials are a million times easier)
guitar(only a little)
ocarina(got mine engraved with a triforce.)
trumpet
I make my own flutes. bamboo flutes.
I want to learn the oboe.

There's this guy in my band class who plays a bunch of video game music when we have free time. It was cool. I was packing up my trumpet when I heard the Mortal Kombat 1 theme. You know the tune: DUN! DUN! DUN! dun DUN dun dun dun DUN dun, Mortal Kombat! And Super Mario 3 (NES), and a bunch of stuff.
