What's your favorite set?

Theres lots of possibilties -

Base Set was what encouraged most people on here into Pokemon TCG

Majestic Dawn IMO had the coolest artwork

Stormfront to me was most playable, loads of playble rares which were easy to buy/trade.
 
man Unseen Forces,Majestic Dawn,and Rising Rivals duh cause they had they best eeveelutions in EX and LV X form and they were all oh and Delta Species duh again cause cause of the EX's

In that format, they were at a standstill. They didn't have Bill or Professor Oak legal anymore, and they didn't have draw support or even cards like Pokedex HANDY910is.

Porygon Z lv. x + Cosmic Power/most draw cards= Get any two cards every turn.:wink:

EXs were strong in their time. They seem weak now, because we now have stage 2 pokemon strnger than most EXs.
 
Ruby and Sapphire when I acctually started playing correctly. LOL we used to just do the damage with out energies or anything. It was really fun when we were kids. Also R and S had some pretty cool pokes in it!
 
CRYSTAL GUARDIANS! At my first tournament, my deck was almost all CG (CHARIZARD, Blastoise, Fearow, heck even the potions and energy search were CG!) Then...after I learned about the metagame...and various archetypes...I started to play Ape, and Delcatty ex came from CG. My beginning days of the TCG were just full of Crystal Guardians!

Either SF or PT. SF has Dusknoir lvX, Machamp, Gengar, Poke Drawer Blower and Healer, etc. PT cause of Manectric, Amphy, All the galactic trainers, Palkia G lvX. Jungle was also fun to collect.
 
I'd have to say Stormfront because, even though some guy told me the set was terrible, the artwork is awesome (Gengar and Charizard) and some of the best cards are in it. I also loved the new "+" cards where you could play two at once. My second favorite would have to be either Team Rocket Returns or Platinum because of the new gameplay options they brought.

That guy was a liar... Machamp and Gengar are owning this TCG at the moment... Also, Charizard wasn't reprinted in Storm Front... Infernape was.
 
Has no one said Team Rocket Returns? That set was amazing. So many good decks came out of that set. That set was so much fun.
