Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

When is Togekiss usefull?

^ It's a nice idea to kill a gallade or gardy but it won't work because you may be able to OHKO a gallade but Gallade can OHKO mighteyena and get an exta prize for the kill.

Yet if you do that, you leave little room for trainers.

Its the problem I'm experiencing with Togekiss. Putting it in my decks give little room for other stuff.

Togekiss takes up a lot of space being a stage two and in decks like blissey you have to have rare candy for it to work well.

I played GG against a Mag Togekiss and beat it to death because it had a slow and small trainer line.

If you play it with Ho-oh you better have a really good list I tried to play it, but it was way to slow to do much.

In my opinion it's not really good with anything.

Agreed

Honestly, the problem is, Togekiss just wastes space. GG ***** the entire deck and without something powerful to back it up, it phails.

Magkissrai might work, or just Magrai+Weavile, I'll have to experiment w/ it.

Why do people think that psychic lock beats darkrai? lol.

A Psychic Cut from Gallade will result in Darkrai's demise. Gardevior Lv X allows for Gallade to get around your sleep attack, Provided the player is not unfortunate enough to flip two tails. Psychic Lock does not beat you, weakness does.

I some how find a use for togekiss alot. I use it in my magmortar deck, and in my Tangrowth Sceptile deck. could also be used with blissey and darkrai.

Togekiss needs to be used with Porygons 2 IMHO. Porygon2 allows for quick deck thinning since most play 3-4 Scotts. If you have 2 P2 on the Bench, 2 Togepi, 1 Garchomp and then 1 Active Chomp, then P2 can thin the deck by downloading a Scott, Grab 2 Supporters and another Scott, download the new Scott Grab 2 Supporters and a Stadium, then Play a Supporter then Serene Grace. You just thinned 6 cards out of your deck to boost the odds of getting 3+ Energy. IT is consistent but I will say it takes some time to setup. It does consistently get outsped, but it can come back quickly to even the match up!

I don't experience any problems.
Maybe I am lucky or my opponent was not paying attention, but this deck actually won from a GG deck once.

Also the problem of having a shortage of trainers does not seem to apply to me.
Here is the deck I am talking about.

----------
Pokemon
----------
3-2-2 Togekiss
2 Darkrai Sleep Hole
2 Darkrai lv. X
3-2 Weavile (1 DP and 1 SW)
3 UNOWN G

Total: 19 Pokemon

---------
Trainers
---------
4 Rare Candy
2 Premier Ball
4 Super Scoop Up
2 Dusk Ball
2 Prof. Oaks Visit
2 Moonlight Stadium
1 Sidney's Stadium
1 Felicity's Drawing
2 Night Maintenance
1 Scott

Total: 21

--------
Energy
--------
20 Basic :dark:

Why does everyone forget my Unown G!?
Okay, having only 3 of it in a deck but it is'nt Pachi weak and protects against Psy Cut and Bring Down!
Why does everyone seem to forget that?:confused:

And then I drop 2 kisses and power up everything in my deck in one turn. Give kiss that 1 turn of powers and its fatal in most cases.

I fail to see any card that you could power up that could be remotely threatening. A Togekiss will be hit by a Psychic Lock, preventing you from turning it dark and increasing your power. Any other pokemon you could possibly put in your deck will meet an unfortunat end at the hands of Gallade's Psychic Cut.

You are also assuming you will not be smacked with a Wager prior to your release from Power Lock Concentration Camp, which would mean you are extremely fortunate. But even if you get them out, the amount of damage you could do is hardly earthshattering, and not even worth worrying about.

Ho-oh ... Fighting Resistance and can flip to avoid being discarded. His power isn't shut off by Psychic Lock either....

Darkrai ... Puts you to sleep and you have to flip two heads to wake up. You might get some prizes with WP and Teleport removing sleep but sooner or later it WILL stick.

Palkia ... Transback is SO annoying if they hit heads.

Cresselia ... Can OHKO Garde with Lake Boundary if there is any damage anywhere on the field. Run with Plus powers for the OHKO on Gallade.

Mismagius ... If Togi sets up 2-3 of these then G&G is going ot have a TOUGH time & it's pretty mean against a charged mag or blissy too.

Salamance ex ... You CAN'T OHKO it with Psychic Cut without something like Shard.

I could go on but the point is that Togi can be useful with the right partners. Sure G&G can beat anything on a given day, but it's not like it can ignore any threat. Some of these are problems for Mags as well.

I was refering to cards that work with Darkrai, as you could have clearly seen in my post when i refered to dark energy.
Your foolishness is forgotten, your apology accepted.

Dialga.... Flash Cannon-->Guaranteed devolution is also a thing to think about. When used on a Gardevoir lv.X, it can be disastrous for the GG player since it removes the Gardevior lv.X and Gardevoir at the same time.
Also, if it already has 8 or more damage counters on it, it gets KO'd intantly. (I hope I wrote that right.)
And the :psychic: resistance is nice aswell as it has no weakness to :fighting:.
