Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Whitewater, WI City Champs--1/23/04 at noon--it's over!

mmk.... Side event? If it is $15 or less, yeah. If not, count me out. I won't have more than $15 saved up by then after Rockford on the 9th.

$15 would be the most I would charge depending on the event.

Roughly of the top of my head....

A modified side event would be $5 with 2 TRR packs of prizes per player registered
A TR/TRR draft, probably 2 packs of TR and 3 packs of TRR (TR being the wizards set and TRR on the newest nintendo set) would be $10-15 with 2-3 pack of TRR for prizes per player
A TRR sealed event, probably 6 packs per player--I'd have to charge $15 at least to have prizes--be 1 pack per person then.

Any other suggestions--let me know and I'll figure out a cost and such.

I'm up for anything. Whatever has the best response I'll run.

If we do a tourney where people use their personal decks (modified, modified 2vs2) cost would be $5 and I would put 2 packs of TRR for prizes per person.

If we do a TR/TRR draft--2vs2 wouldnt work very well since the old set obviously doesnt have any 2vs2 capabilities.

If majority wants 2vs2--thats what we'll do.

So everyone--keep posting your suggestions and PM me your player info to preregister!

For any of those: a 2v2 option would be kinda nice...

I think everyone would be interested in playing a straight TRR 2v2 draft. There are a lot of good cards in the set for 2v2 rules and it's a great way to get more of the new set.

Here are some of the possibilities....

A modified side event--$5 with 2 TRR packs of prizes per player registered. Can do 1 on 1 or 2 vs 2.

A TR/TRR draft, probably 2 packs of TR and 3 packs of TRR (TR being the wizards set and TRR on the newest nintendo set) would be $10-15 with 2-3 packs of TRR for prizes per player

A TRR sealed event, probably 6 packs per player--I'd have to charge $15 at least to have prizes--be 1, maybe 2 packs per person then. Can do 1 on 1 or 2 vs 2.

A TRR draft, 4 maybe 5 pack booster draft. Cost would be $10-15 with probably 2 packs of prize support per player of TRR. Can do 1 on 1 or 2 vs 2.

Any other suggestions--let me know and I'll figure out a cost and such. I am limited to TRR and TR packs though. I probably wouldn't be able to aquire and other sets in enough quantity by the tournament.

If you have enough, it'd also be fun to go straight TR, probably cheaper too...

I only have 1 box. So only way I could do that is if there was 6 people..well...depends if youd want draft or sealed. Draft could do with 4 packs per person so 9 players or less.

Josh can't go. He has a play to go to. Joe can't go. They're having a football party. My cousin can't come. His parents won't let him do anything fun until he raises his grades. Cody doesn't wanna come. He says it is a waste of his time.

Looks like my entire vanload wimped out and it is down to me. How usual is that?

Bummer :frown:

It isn't my fault. I'm not making excuses for them, they're making excuses for themselves! I'm not Joe. If I was Joe, I'd say "heck to you all cause I'm going to Whitewater and going 2-3!" LMAO! Just kidding, but pretty much.

Can you still get a ride there derrick? i wasnt saying it was your fault, i was just saying that because i thought joe's "calling" was pokemon, and that he was playing in everything he could now.
