Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Who's Repping Out Canada at Worlds???

man do you just sit at home and come up with this stuff?!

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's all you do, since me and Curtis ALWAYS comes to you:nonono:. Not to mention when you're down in Sauga, I'm ALWAYS the one who gets you there:nonono:... so the answer is yes, all you do is sit at home:biggrin:. Come up with stuff? I'm pretty sure you don't do that either consider all your decks are just renditions of already made decks:wink:... If I can recall, thoughout our whole friendship/Pokemon career, I've NEVER played one of your decks, and you've already played AT LEAST 3 of mine (better versions of course, but as stated, you only make already made decks better ). I wonder why we're even friends since all we do is hang out, and don't even touch Pokemon Cards when we chill... :)confused: actually... when was the last time we actually played a game together...)

2-1 Drop is better than 0-X with Golem Exploud =D

I'm pretty sure if I went 2-1 and dropped in my Nationals... I wouldn't be the Champion that year... OH WAIT I WAS 2-1 at one point, in fact I was 2-2 and I played it out to win the whole thing...

In POP I'm actually 14-5 with Golem Exploud... so me going 0-X is only in your dreams:lol:

You're not even a reliable source, some one gave you negative feedback...:nonono:

You may have more Throphies and a better Pokemon Stat Card better than me, but I have something you don't(EVEN CURTIS HAS ONE!!!)... Is a Nationals Throphy

lets make predictions on who will make it furthest in each division

Seniors: Jacob will go very far, Michael L should go far too
Juniors: I have no clue

Masters: Matt should do well, Curtis should do well, Gordon should do well, idk if I will do well (my first Worlds idk)

If Sebastian grinds in his run will probably be deep again. I can see both Gordon and Curtis at least making top 32 but I guess we will see. Jacob should make top 32 especially if he plays well. I dont have a clue about Juniors but I am pretty sure anyone playing in it will be able to make cut if they play well and dont end up playing only Japanese kids

Thanks for mentioning me lol. I agree with all of your points

Juniors

Recap of '2009

7 Canadian Juniors enter Grinders --> 6 Grind In (Including the youngest in the whole shooting match by a long shot).

11 Canadian Juniors in the Main Event

3 Make it to the T32 (Ethan, Josh L. and Quinn, with Justin and Paige just missing) all eliminated by Japanese players playing SP toolbox decks -- decks we really hadn't teched well against.

Skip Forward to '2010

Of the above 5 players all of them are still eligible to play in Worlds this year, 4 of 5 have invites in the Junior division. One would think that at least some of them should be able to break through this year into playing on the final day.

I obviously have a basis on who I'd like to see go furtherst, but in all honesty I'd have to say that Ethan or Josh are more than capable of a T4 finish this year.

I'd certainly take Juniors over any other division for most number of participants in the main event, most number of top cuts and deepest penetration into the top cut.

Oh yeah and in the Master's all I can say as I'll never be so far away from Sean, so I'm absolutely positive its gonna be my best day ever:eek:

what about me dexter? lol noone thinks im gonna do well

If I recall correctly, I don't think you would have gotten to even the top tables without my expertise on deck building. Professor Rowans? That card made your deck!! See, without me, Bidier would be holding that Nationals Trophy in his room right now.

haha, not my fault I don't have the luxury of a car and the way I see it.. You NEED to come down to my place, or that title belt that I took from your house is gonna stay in Hamilton forever!

Let's get this straight, WE came up with decks before and I just improved on them the night before, then I proceed to WIN with them the day of. You decide to play something OTHER than what we worked on, then proceed to LOSE with it the day of =). hahaha. Let's not forget who's Flygon Ampharos you played ... thanks =P

Lastly, YOU gave me the negative feedback, and I have something better than a Nationals Trophy... Top 16 World's card... where's yours? =P I'm pretty sure it's now,...

Geneses: doesn't matter
Matt: autowin.

I <3 this thread =p

masters
out of the people grinding, while i do think hawaii is the easiest place to grind i dont know if anyone on the list besides sebastian can do it.
i think matt k and seb c have proven they have what it takes to advance to higher stages of worlds. i predict top 32 at the very least
in terms of dark horses, gordon and curtis are a safe bet for coming close to making top cut. esp if they play as well as they did at nats

in a depth prespective - in order from farthest in the tournament to lowest
seb , mat, gor, cur
even though it may seem like im undersizing these power players i think its hard to make satisfactory predictions based on how this format operates (sablelocks etc.)

seniors
mike, jacob and jack are my heavy favourites for atleast top 32

juniors
tough to safe; given how well justin did at nats i would say hes the safest bet but ethan is consistent at these worlds events

Jack is gonna finish 0-X he told me he's bad now.

In masters and seniors, whoever sticks with PLOX or Dialga will make it far enough into the event.

Also Jacob, macchamp is a lie.

lol this thread is quite funny.

not sure which bandwagon to jump on: genie's or matt's. hhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. taking bribes

I will indeed go 0-X. I haven't played since Nats. =D Oh wellz maybe I'll have to actually test more than usual. =(
