Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Why have you given up on Amphytric? It will be great for Reginals.

Dialga G is Tier 1 which means it will see alot of play. Machamp is an obvious counter, that will see alot of play.

Both these hurt Amphytric badly - not to mention 3 cost attack for 70?

I dont't think this deck was ever as good as people hyped it to be.

Defen won't do anything to them becouse they have Resistance, and Amphytric can play with Unknown G, which will negate Remove Lost.

Amphy does have a first attack that requires 2 energy. Read my sig for what will happen to them. I also know most of them don't play with special metals because they are not serchable, and they won't have Poketurs all the time.

And while the Dialga player just poisons you to death you do.... what?

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Dialga G is BDIF

It isn't, sorry. Lol.

Blastcatty isn't bad in the wrong hands. It just needs the right techs for G decks cough* Pachi and Absol*cough and timing. Blastcatty has enough powers going off per turn to overwhelm the average G deck and their power sprays.

If you need to do that much work to get the deck to function you might as well run something else.

It is pretty stupid arguing what the BDIF is.
There is no clear BDIF right now.
In CC's, whether you thought so or not, it was T-tar: It had good matchups against Kingdra and Dusknoir variants, which were both the biggest contenders.

In this format, we don't really know... it ALL has to do with metagame locally.

You don't even live in the same country as me - my metagame is completely different to yours.

The BDIF in CC's was Abomasnow. during the CC season i played Torterra and got 2nd, Ttar and didn't place and Machamp and won 1st. The decks i saw the most were Kingdra and Abomasnow, but the deck i saw do best was abomasnow, and Machamp at one CC.

I agree with this, T-tar was definately BDIF

Like nnaann said, it all depends where you live.

Dusknoir dominated CCs in the UK. I don't think I've ever even played against Abomasnow here, much less been 'kicked in da face' by it.

Every deck during CC's had good matchups. What made T-Tar BDIF was that Kingdra and Dusknoir were the two most popular decks ( top 2 decks that won Cities ) and T-Tar had great matchups against both of them.

If your metagame wasn't this way, then another deck would have been a better choice.

Its not that much work. Besides I'm a rogue player no matter which TCG I play. I REFUSE to play the meta staple (and I don't have any Machamps )
