Why I love DP4-the broken cards of DP4

With the new Blaziken, you can run a BLEX deck almost again.

Gardy and its LV X form is almost broken. Shoot Down is just devestating, as long as you remember that it can KO your Pokemon as well. And both forms have excellent Poke-Powers. Gallade as the alternate evo and a tech with these gals is just evil.

Lapras and Pachirisu are both awesome starters, even more so wtih Lapras once Castaway goes bye bye. Relicanth is the choice starter for Fossil decks as well, as it seems that PUI wants fossil Pokemon to be viable now.

Porygon 2 is very nice and a great way to use multiple Supporters in a turn. Forget Z, Porygon 2 is for more useful.

Beedrill can make a possible deck, though having to get into the Stage 2 form is annoying.

Sceptile + Blissey is also very nasty, talk about massive damage.

Cresselia and its Lv X form can be fun, as both have fun effects and the Lv X form can get you 2 prizes if it KOs something with its one attack.

So overall, I think that we have entered a golden age in creative cards.
 
Weezing just made poison decks a more serious threat, you have the possibility of 60 damage inbetween every turn if you stack.Blissey would fall like that.
 
Hi folks,

Just one more combo from the new set:

Umbreon with Espeon and two other Eeveelution which benefit from common weakness in the current environment combined with Lake Boundary and teched Togekiss. This means a swarm of evolution lines without weakness able to deal double damage while having HP 100 to HP 110 on their own.
 
Awesome first post, really liked reading all of the opinions! Yes, if people were wondering how to top DP2 and DP3, look at DP4. Problem is, some of these cards are looking so broken that if they go much further, we're going to be looking at the most ridiculous format ever.

Still, PCL look like they know what they're doing...

Now, the ability to do 60, 90 or 120 for G is insane.

Consider Beedrill with a teched Volbeat and Illumise line. This line searches out basics from the bench and enables the deck to reuse valued trainers such as draw trainers or Celio's Network. Combined with a full balls engine and Night Maintenance this could enable the swarm to withstand knock outs during the match.

a few things:

1) reading mewtwo closely, we see he actually pulls energy from your DECK! even better!
2) wailord? 200 HP stage 1? add leftovers and his body and u have a stall king!
3) speaking of kings, where's slowking? every time ur opponent knocks out a poke, you get to searc hur deck for any 1 card and put it in ur hand! throw in minun to draw 2 cards, and maybe plusle to get back 2 energy, and you get amazing results!
4) gardy and gardy lv. x are in SW
5) what about scizor? 30 for M but if ur opponent has special energy attached it does +50! considering the popularity of special energy such as dre and scramble, this seems amazing! could play w/ shuckle SW to destroy special energy decks

EDIT:
6) tangrowth + sceppy - tangrowth does power whip for G 10 to any of your opponent's pokemon for each basic energy on tangrowth. could include leafeon lv. x as well. attach, energy growth, overgrow sasy 4 attached, snipe for 40. nex turn, snipe for 80, next turn 120, etc.

Porygons 2 and Z are amazing. Like previous said, Scott+Download is nuts, and Porygon z is a nice extra to play, as well.
 
Am I the only one who thinks Eevee itself has gotten out of hand? I mean, all your Eevees out in one go for C? Stupid.
 
Hi Ultima,

Combine that with the evolution lines and recall that Umbreon hands the all free retreat and no weakness. Now factor in Leafeon Lv.X and Lake Boundary for good measure ;). The result is a potential four to six corners deck.
