This set is the side-set to the series of sets which recently wrapped up the EX: Diamond & Pearl: RetroTrainer block. This set focuses on five trainers who can battle at your side in different places in Sinooh. Here's a little lowdown on each of them:

Cheryl
Gender: Female
Wild Partner in Eterna Forest
Signature Pokémon: Chansey
Game Debut: Diamond/Pearl
Anime Debut: Episode 498, "Some Enchanted Sweetening!" (season 10)
Most Recent Anime Appearance: Episode 500, "An Angry Combeenation" (season 10)
Cheryl's Plight: Cheryl's looking to get to the other side of Eterna Forest. Once you get her there, you won't see her again until you meet up with her in the Battle Tower.
Keep in mind that, aside from the anime appearance fields, this bio is based entirely on Diamond/Pearl.

Mira
Gender: Female, although at least one site got it wrong at first...
Wild Partner in Wayward Cave
Signature Pokémon: Kadabra
Game Debut: Diamond/Pearl
Anime Debut: Episode 515, "Sandshrew's Locker!" (season 10)
Most Recent Anime Appearance: Mira has made only one appearance
Mira's Plight: Mira's looking to get through Wayward Cave. Once you get her through, you won't see her again until you meet up with her in the Battle Tower.
Keep in mind that, aside from the anime appearance fields, this bio is based entirely on Diamond/Pearl.

Riley
Gender: Male
Wild Partner on Iron Mountain
Signature Pokémon: Lucario
Game Debut: Diamond/Pearl
Anime Debut: Episode 578, "Steeling Peace of Mind!" (season 11)
Most Recent Anime Appearance: Episode 579, "Saving the World from Ruins" (season 11)
Riley's Plight: Riley's looking for a secret exit in Iron Mountain. Once you get him there, he'll give your character an egg that hatches into a Riolu, the pre-evolved form of Lucario. Once you have the egg, you won't see him again until you meet up with him in the Battle Tower. (For the record, Riley has a resembelance to Sir Aaron from the Lucario movie...)

Marley
Gender: Female, though some people had the audacity to think otherwise...
Wild Partner in Victory Road
Signature Pokémon: Arcanine
Game Debut: Diamond/Pearl
Anime Debut: Has Not Yet Appeared In The Anime
Marley's Plight: Once you have the National Pokédex, a new area of Victory Road opens where you meet Marley. She'll ask to be escorted out of the area. Once you get her there, you'll see her again at the Battle Tower.

Buck
Gender: Male, although he pretty much decieved everyone at first...
Wild Partner on Stark Mountain
Signature Pokémon: Claydol
Game Debut: Diamond/Pearl
Anime Debut: Has Not Yet Appeared In The Anime
Buck's Plight: Buck's out to steal a Magma Rock from Stark Mountain. Once you get him there, he'll take the Magma Rock. Once you return to his house in the Survival Area, only then will you be able to fight the legendary Pokémon Heatran. Once Heatran's caught or defeated, you'll see Buck again at the Battle Tower.

If you're having trouble figuring out who evolves from what, take a look at a fourth-generation evolution guide I cooked up and put into this recycled thread. It will tell you just how the Pokémon line up in the fourth generation, who evolves from what, and even the Pokémon's DS types to help you figure Weakness and Resistance!

This set is based only on the Diamond/Pearl games, both when they appeared as a wild tag-battle partner and as a tag-battle partner in Sinooh's Battle Tower. Sorry, no Burmy anime madness for Cheryl here, and if you're looking for the Mira's Sandslash line, forget it, you won't find it here. Request any facet of the Burmy or Sandslash lines for anyone and your request will be turned down.

Cardmaking for this set is finished. All cards are done.

Poké-POWER Harden
Remove 1 energy From Buck's Steelix.

dxjohncenacaz, please delete your Buck's Steelix card. I had reserved that card before you put up that post, and there's numerous other violations on that card, including: maximum HP breach, invalid type choice, and an attack usable for zero Energy. Not to mention the attack is insanely broken. The Buck's Steelix in THIS post is the Buck's Steelix for this set, your card does not count.

{C} Chance Salvage Each player rolls two six-sided dice. If each player's dice have the same total value, keep rolling until each player's dice have different values. The player whose dice has the higher total value shuffles a number of Energy card or Trainer card (excluding Stadium cards) from his or her discard pile into his or her deck equal to the difference between the total values of each player's dice.
