Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Wisconsin Dells, Regional Report

Unfortunatley he isnt on very much. I wish he was on more. Glad to hear all of you guys had a good time. I wish the venue would have provided a better environment, but I guess thats a chance you take sometimes. TSD Mage, I believe you are the young man who said some very kind words to me during the top cut matches. If I am right, I would again like to thank you for those words. Its great to hear from guys like you, Kevin, Unknown 111, and all the others here that the work that we put into this event served the players well. Considering the limited staff we had because of all the Regs being on the same day, I thought it went well.

Thanks again to all of you who attended. Great to see all of my old friends and to make so many new ones. You guys are what makes all the hard work worth it. Hope to see you all at the next event.

Ah, you're Troy? Yes, that was me. It was nice talking to you. I would be fortunate to have you on staff at an event I attend again some day.

Thanks again. Maybe you should think about becoming a Professor in your not already one. Then look into getting into judging. You seem to have the right attitude towards the game, and we are always looking for more help.

I would LOVE to do that, but my knowledge on the little things is not very good. I already attempted the test once and it was WAY out of my league. I only got about half the questions right. What could I do/use to help learn all the things that the test questions?

1. Study the Compendium.

2. Study the little things, like the basic rule book. Seems silly, but it helps.

3. Look on go-Pokemon.com for other resources.

4. Rub lucky rabbit's foot. Maybe it wasnt so good for the rabbit, but it couldnt hurt.

Seriously, its impossible memorize everything, but familiarizing yourself with all the resources out there, and remember, most common thoughts on the test are just that, common.

Oh, I almost forgot about the most important point of all.

5. Relax. Even if you dont get it on the first try, or the second, or even the third, you can always take it again.
