Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

World Championships COMPLETED RESULTS

Well, I would guess that he lets the opponent damage whatever, uses Reuniclus to move the damage to the Dragons to build up outrage, then when they are about to die, he uses Blissey. Vileplume must be so Reuniclus doesn't get Reversaled up.

Assuming that the report of Vileplume, Reuniclus, Blissey, and Dragons is correct it's not rocket science to see how it works.

You attack with the dragons most of the time, and since they are basics you don't have to worry about setting them up too much. You also run DCE so you can outrage easily. Zekrom is flat out nasty vs Yanmega & Reshi covers you vs the Donphans and other lightning counters.

You lock trainers with Vileplume, since a huge number of top decks need trainers to win.

You move damage around with Reuniclus, which keeps yanmega from easilly taking out your Vileplume and gives you the ablity to do really strategic outrages.

Blissey takes damage off the field without flips (SSU) or potentially messing with your energy drops (Seeker). Further it's an OK backup attacker especially against stuff like RDL.

Nice to see someone putting together something new for Worlds again.

does he use the prime blissey or the uncommon one? the uncommon one can provide the dmg counters for the dragons and deal decent damage. the prime one can heal the damage, but after the healing you dont do a lot damage

Ross uses Blissey Prime, and now that the cat is out of the bag, they key thing you guys are missing is Vileplume stop PlusPower, so Reshiphlosion can't OHKO either dragon. As far as I know he is also using Suicune & Entei Legend, which makes ReshiPhlosion literally an auto win, it never dies AND OHKO's the whole deck.

Vileplume alone ruins YanmegaZone pretty badly and stops it in its tracks, and if they misplay by attacking with anything but Magnezone at all, the damage always gets moved to get KO's with Outrage. Forcing 3 energy discards every time with Magnezone is tough to keep up for the deck, specially when their hand is clogged with Trainers and most lists running between 10-11 energy, they literally cannot OHKO 4 Dragons.

So there you have it.

Wow. Props to him for an extremely creative deck. Let's see if he can make it all the way.

both has its advantages and disadvantages. the prime one heals all his pokemon but discards all energy attached to the healed pokemon and can be recycled by seeker or super scoop up. he could use both. the uncommon one with reuniclus can hasten the build-up of outrage power of the dragons but has a high retreat cost. i imagine he uses prime one.

My definitive favourite now is Ross Cawthorn - what an amazing deck, and apparently he knows how to play it as well.
There are really no others I´m following in any age division - possibly Jacob Lesage in Seniors, and JWittz a little bit because, well, he is JWittz.

Definitely interesting, whoever takes the title of World Champion.

I thought in one of their latest videos that there are 6 people who are with the TopCut. It's just that two are behind he scenes.

I'm not blaming them for anything, and I still think that their idea is a worthy one. However, they need to be really careful about over promising and under delivering. This fan base can be pretty fickle when it comes to things like this. So, my advise would be to either tone done the advertisement or pony up and deliver.

I think most people already knew that there was not going to be live video, that's fine. It's just that most people were expecting at least Tweets from them after every round and at least some basic information about the decks. Secondary, I think that people expected their video from any given day to be up that night because that is what they did for Nats.

Again, it sounds like they are getting some cool stuff (interviews, game footage), but it won't be up until after the event for us to see.

I wonder if they have given up on trying to stream the Top Cut Invitational yet? That was what I was most excited for from those guys today. I still have hope...

I guess I didn't make my point of view clear in my last post. I completely agree with you, I didn't expect videos but I did expect more tweets and yesterday "live" updates were a let down. But to go around saying that you are disappointed and that they should've done a better job is what got me. I don't mean to offend Sdrawkcab, I read your posts and it seems we feel the exact same way about it.Sorry, but I just don't like to read complaints.

We all seem to be debating on the same side so I think it is best to just we just end this conversation.

Anyways, they are doing a better job today. My phone has been getting many tweets. Most of them are pretty recent.

So, from what I can make out, Masters:

Ross Vs Lorezo
Jwittz Vs Tom
Josue Vs Jeremy
David Cohen Vs Dylan Lefavour

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
