Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

World Championships COMPLETED RESULTS

I find it amusing how people think Magneboar is bad. There never was anything bad about it, it just runs bad against Yanzone. Its matchup vs. both Reshiram decks are solid and doesn't have TOO many problems against Donphan. I would have bounced past T128 at nationals myself if I didn't lose to a crappy call.

I like this finals matchup though, one of my favorite decks vs. rogue.

PLEASE don't start talking about this because magneboar is in the finals.

^ If the game didn't start and no prizes were placed, it goes to sudden death and a coin flip, which I'm gathering didn't occur.

Sudden death for masters!?! Magneboar can't really win this, but the Ross's deck is kinda slow as well. Arg, the suspense...

Ah! I feel it two. But Ross should have an advantage with Donphan. Unless Cohen has a tech attacker that we don't know about.

nope, no one from south america has even Top 4'd worlds since the begining. Gustavo and some others already Top 8'd and 16.

By far he deserves winning, coming from a country with just no competition (so he basically has to play with older guys) and no Organized Play support (paid trips, etc). So yeah, major kudos to his dad and himself :thumb:

Yes, thats what happens in Argentina too, I'm so proud of Gustavo, congratulations for him

As I said, I've got nothing against it, but everyone seems to hate on Magneboar for no reason at all. I ran fine against my matchups at nats with it. Just ran into the same bad luck other people did in Top cut.

What did Ross put active? Also, what is he playing exactly? I have heard Entei Suicune Legend, Donphan, Dragons, Blissey Prime, Vileplume and Reuniclus? Are all of those there?
