Can anybody explain how this nidoqueen/milotic thing works?
...or which milotic it is? 0_o
The best guess I can think of would be he ran HL Milotic to heal his pokemon and kept it on the bench so that Nidoqueen does more damage with Power Lariat. That, and adding 4 more Evolved pokemon on his bench, Nidoqueen's Power Lariat would be doing 90 damage every turn.

Nidoqueen does +10 damage for each of your evolved pokemon in play.

Milotic, if HL and played from hand , takes off damage counters from Nidoqueen and adds +10 to Power Lariat.

Also, considering that Nidoqueen doesn't have widely used weakness, then it won't take as much damage.

Especially considering that Nidoqueen's Weakness is Grass, this guy really took advantage of the format's metagame.

Also, add the Family Bonds Poke-Body and you can basically use other Nidoran/Nidorina as stallers with Free Retreat. Add milotic to this concept...o_O;;;

SOMEONE really took notes...and some mighty fine ones too....

Actually, if you look at just Nidoqueen and Milotic (the two major focuses), the deck was Water/Fighting...which means...

ZOMG, Blackout's great-great-grandchildren reign supreme :lol:

EDIT: Looked at Nidorina's abilities. No wonder he picked those two pokemon. Fast Evolution could bring out both in turn 2 if he really wanted to

Wouldn't it be great it Worlds was in a different country every year :). To me Worlds is just another USA Nationals only with a few International players.

Fast Evolution is an attack, so it would be Turn3.
That may be true, but what if he had this kind of hand on his first turn...

Nidoran F, Nidorina, Double Rainbow, Rare Candy, (Energy), Nidoran, Feebas

Won't happen all the time, but it could happen, no?

That'd be awesome, I'd want like some really exotic place. believe me, the americans want to go somewhere cool for worlds too, not just in another state.

Venemoth is good if you can flip heads (OHKO Ndioqueen). Also, any grass pokemon that can do 50 damage plus strength charm can KO it too.
