I was thinking about other locations Worlds could be held, and I was wondering if we'll ever get a Worlds location outside of the U.S. I was looking at other cool places, and the best place to hold Worlds 2010 IMO would be in Somalia. I've done a lot of reading on Somalia. Not only does it have a warm climate, but there's plenty to do, including tours & safaris. Somalia is home to wild horses, zebras, and other exotic animals. What's even better is that the flight isn't as far for most European countries, who usually have to fly all the way across the Atlantic ocean to play at Worlds. This gives Europeans a more "home court" advantage, and it also allows players in nearby countries like Kongo, Nigeria & South Africa more reasonable travel expenses if they wish to try to grind in to the event (assuming they haven't qualified already).

It's too early to tell for sure, but judging by all Somalia has to offer, I see no reason Worlds 2010 won't be in Somalia.

considering i won worlds TWO times, it's only fair that i get to pick where the next worlds tournament should be - or at least the general area...everybody needs to quit being so negative or we're gonna get stuck in a scummy city like orlando again. (no offense to people in orlando but the whole city smells like pee.)
 
Does Somalia even have a GOVERNMENT right now?

I think the U.S. had a fun time their last time they went. I think I recall reading something about AK-47s being easy to buy there.

EDIT: well when I figure out what to get rid of, and free up some space, I'll add it.
 
There is no players, too expencive to go. Idea ot go other places than USA or Japan is nice but why not go to Europe? Middle-europe haves both, nice places and lot's of players around.
 
Finally, someone has the sense to think of a world view. I'm going to start buying my Somalian Pokemon cards now so that I'll be ready when the time comes thanks to the new ruling.
 
Worlds should be in the country of the Masters World Champion from the previous year (or a country of his/her choosing).

What more could u want, pirates and disease, this time all in one place. In my opinion if worlds should be anywhere out of USA it should be in the Netherlands. Or maybe as Yugioh worlds was in Germany they should hold it there, this time as a double event. Also all the big board games festivals are held there.
