X-men Orgins: Wolverine *Possible Spoilers*

I just came back from the movie and was decently impressed. It was pretty good. A little slow in the start, but it picked up pace and became a really good movie.

The second movie "X-men 2" is the only one I own on DVD, so I have seen it a few times. There were tons of referances to that movie in this one, with the obvious plot of Wolverine's past, but stuff like how he lost his memory, and referances to certain characters like Cyclops and Xavier. I also like how they told how he got his famous jacket and motorcycle.

I also thought it was neat how they included how he got his metal claws, and how he used to have normal bone ones.

Anyone else notice that Xavier was NOT in wheelchair, but was standing.

It was a good movie overall (zero pwns BTW), and I think the next one will be an orgins movie focusing on Xavier, since he used to be friends with Magneto and stuff.

Also for those who have not seen it yet, or have and might see it again, or whatever, make sure you wait till the end of the credits. There are 2 scenes, the first one is immdietly after the credits start, the second is at the end of the credits.

Also on a final note, the theater was unusally uncrowded for a second day movie, probably because of the swine flu scare.

So who else saw the movie?

Yeah I saw the movie and actually LOVED IT. It's my 2nd favorite of the xmen films after part 2. Could u PM me and tell me what the two hidden scenes were cuz I left b4 they appeared.

I hope they do either a Xavier or Magneto. That would be very good and seeing how Magneto was treated while in the concentration camp that he was in!

I saw the first scene during the credits but missed the 2nd

can someone tell me what happened the second time?

The follwoing is a spoiler in invisible font: Highlight to read

[
The first scene shows the army pulling over a "still walking" striker to question him about the murder of that colonel he killed. The second scene at the VERY VERY end shows Wolverine stiing in some bar trying to drown out his sorrows in shot glasses and saying he is "drinking to remember, not drinking to forget."

Man I missed it!
I saw the first part.

I was annoyed that the trillogy never made any reference to Gambit. He has always been my favorite mutant. I was very pleased to hear he is in this movie. After seeing it I thought they did a real good job on his character. The personality and fighting style were dead on, but that accent was way too mild. He is supposed to have a very thick Creole accent. I talked to a lot of people from the South. I have heard what a real thick Creole accent is supposed to sound like. That wasn't it. Oh well, I still loved the movie.

I saw it a couple months ago lol. It was pretty sick, but I didn't like how Gambit was a minor character in the only movie he has appeared in.

I like the movie overall, just didn't like the "forced" (imo) tie-in to the first movie.

*spoilers btw*

Seriously, getting shot in the head with adamantium bullets and getting amnesia from it? Lame lame lame.

well as striker says "His brain may heal, but his memories won't" So it keeps Wolverine's indetructabilty, but proves he can be hurt metally.

I'm sorry but I was really disappointed with the movie. It had the potential to be a much better movie than it was. It's too late (or early depending on how you look at it) for me to get into detail, I'll post later.
