Yay! FE8 is out! aka The Sacred Stones or Seima no Koseki

Really? Ever try hard mode? Eraphims? OMG, a Soldier double strkies! That just isn't right.

Not really as hard as you'd make it sound, really. The game's basic strategy against you doesn't really change, just the quality and quantity of the opposition.

Try playing older FE games. Here's one of the harder bosses in FE6:

Murdock - General lvl. 20
HP 62 - STR 27 - SKL 19 - SPD 12 - LCK 12 - DEF 25 - RES 17 - CON 20
- Tomahawk
- Knight Crest

He's also sitting on a throne, which adds 3 Defense and 20 or so Evade, and I think some Resistance as well. You also need to kill him from across a giant field in 30 turns or less. An Armorslayer or Hammer only does single-digit damage to him, and he can kill most magic users on the retaliation, even with legendary weapons.

Even more fun was having to go across like 30-40 tiles over forests and mountains, through a small army of enemy mobs, to get to a village before it's destroyed. Gets you the Eclipse tome, which in that game dropped your HP to 1 instead of halving it. Of course, its accuracy was utter crap, but then again, there were only four Dark Magic tomes anyways that could be used by players (Flux, Nosferatu, Eclipse, and Apocalypse, which gave +5 Magic).

Oh and Zephiel (the penultimate boss) makes Nergal and Lyon look like pansies. Ranged attack with 150 or so accuracy, infinite uses, 22 def, 24 res, throne defenses and regen. Plus there were reinforcements of mamkutes to ruinate you.

personally, I dont want to play a game that is almost impossible. I enjoyed FE 7 and 8 and I am going thru 8 for a 3rd time working on my link battle team. Im going lute-ross-ewan-josh-gerik with the obvious supports.

If you've beaten the game in Eraphim's and Eirik's mode, then promote Yuan to a Trainee Mage. -_-

Love star is: basicly made up of Eraphim, Eirika, Hineas, Tahna, and Leon.

You can guess who is with who.

Zephiel frankly was a pansy also. Roy with Sword of Seals crushed him in a few attacks, and Fa easilly could have. It DOES take longer then it does to kill Leon or Nergal, but it's still REALLY easy if you have Roy the only one attacking Zephiel and Lilina (I hate Lugh's non-existant magic) playing Healer. ;)

Fire Emblem 9, Path of Radience/Souen no Kiseki (can't rememember what the name of the continent is) is rather difficult. On Chapter 5(!!!), you have 5 units and are supposted to defend a castle against 30+ enemies, including Armor Knights, Sword Knights, Priests, and Elace. X__x You literally HAVE to use Tiamat (your paladin from CH 1) in this game, or it is impossible. X___x

Oh, and the Gamecube game is NOT a continuation of FE 7. If you want that, go play FE 6.

Umm . . . can you say higher stat caps and using every type of magic outside of Staves? I dunno, but using Nossy and Aura and Excally seems good to me!

shaman then druid is better for ewan imho since you have lute as a mage already.

You missed the "Trainee" part of my post, so I was reffering to the "Pupil (I hate that name)" class.

Yes, Yuan can promote from Pupil, to Pupil, and then to Pupil. The point of doing this? Sure, he gains no contuition, but he can use all three types of magic (but not staves), and get caps that for a magic user are only rivaled by Leon's.

You would honestly take the far inferior Druid over a Super Trainee Mage? :?

... I'm not going to lose my mind trying to speak reason to this kid... I'm not going to lose my mind trying to speak reason to this kid.

... *goes insane*

...If only Latona had more then 3 uses. -__________________-

If only the 5% critical and extra might bonus applied to staves after you got an S in them. -_________-

If only your healers weren't doomed to get an S in staves if you tried to keep them play emergancy healer. -_________-

How do you promote a trainee into a trainee?

Eh, I don't get it. Please explain in detail how you promote a class into the same class it already is. :\ Thanks.
