you know what happens when u assume right...n im not posting my decklist on the gym.....even tho everyone will just say that my decks sucks and banette will lose im not going to waste my time.....straight banette, arithmatic, banette with a bunch of techs, whatever..is going to do well at nats whether yall agree......and i already said empoleon is the hardest matchup...but it can still be beat...

why not think banette will win nats....the underdog deck usually wins nats....y not banette....ohh yeah everyone thinks it suck........whatever....ull c @ nats.....im done wasting my time on this thread because it really isnt getting anywhere and its kind of frustrating....so see all of you at nats....and good luck with your NOOB GG.....play a deck that actually requires skill

Didn't ask for your decklist. Without you actually saying what variant you're using all I can do is make assumptions. I'd really like to know how you make your banette deck beat empoleon. I'm done with this thread. If all the noobs want to have their fantasy then I won't spoil them.

Lol my goodness,Artimethic has cresselia gyarados,Banette dosnt need techs 2 attack,it needs techs to counter the strength of the deck is facing,if I put in dugtrio,you can't snipe,which forces u do to do 100 every turn.Early game banette can do 80 and often,If u don't setup a quick a emp near t2 or t3,ure gonna have to abuse scramble and catch up and ill abuse warps or if u lose wager early,then banette will roll thro you. Empoleon is a hard matchup for banette,no one denies that,but it can be beatin and no matter how good you are,you can lose any day of the week,Rain dancer is a good empoleon player,that's why he's been doin well with it.
FYI that's great that guy got 6th at worlds,but that was last year and the sayin is 2nd is not a winner and no one remembers third.

I play Banette and can say from experience that it has a good matchup with G&G. However, it doesnt ALWAYS do as well. For someone who plays G&G, maybe a little concern for this deck. But from past matchups with repeated infercatty, empoleon, and magmortar decks, it doesnt stack up as well. Just like any other deck, it really depends on the player's personal build and skill level. Don't know what all the fuss is about...

Is it just me or does the biggest, not ness. the best deck always win seniors us nats? lbs in 06,then ape 07.....pattern?
Those are the only 2 years i been playing btw.
GG does not need to be worried about banette. Empoleon DESTROYS banette. Sorry to say.
GG and Empo need to be worried about "The Sausage".
Nats is gonna be so fun this year, I cant wait. I promised a deck prior to Regionals that could compete with GG and Mortar. I am now promising that "The Sausage" can compete with all the top decks today.

no, GG players should not be worried about T2 Banette or any Banette type deck at Nationals
Why? T2 Banette isnt THAT bad of a match-up for GG if you know how to play it
if you dont know how to play the match-up, then yeah, you should be worried
