Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Werewolf xvi the rise of team plasma: Town wins

Does this mean I can have my Liligant back now?

As for this being my second game- it was fun and good to see a good mixture of characters. I will be playing in the next one, regardless of who is hosting. (And I sign up in time).

One thing that was complicated was the items. I was not even sure if I would live long enough to get the item I needed with so much scrutiny around the item as to whether I was a good guy or a bad guy and if it was going to have a good or bad effect.

Over all- this game gave me more experience at playing, and I thank you AAM for hosting.

Apology accepted on my behalf- as I do not think it is a bad thing to try to put different additions into the game in order to try new things out.

I had fun.
I'll post a huge analyisis of the game and my personal thoughts when I get a chance.

I don't think anyone will EVER trust me again...lol

AAM - Thanks for your hard work on this! I for sure had a lot of fun, especially not knowing exactly what I was getting into. I was actually surprised I survived until the end.

I would have to say item drops were difficult to get with PM's... perhaps there could have been another way to distribute them evenly around the playerbase instead of having players stalk the thread around update time.

Just one last comment, I dont think that the speech thing with Sarumon and Gandalf was as crippling as it turned out to be in the game. There was a strong correlation, however without Absoltrainers ability to see SS7's name, I don't think the attack on him would have been nearly as strong.

....Now if I can just find where I put that tape of Reshiram so I dont get voted out of being President of the Fan Club....

Also I would like to apologize for being harsh on D2 (especially to you, Absol).

I was a bit aggressive in posting my defense of during that day, and so I'm apologizing for that to you all.

I don't really have much thoughts I haven't expressed already about XVI, but if I do I'll be sure to post them. I'm also interested in seeing Absol's thoughts on XVI as well.

You know, I actually had a small inkling that AA/M had made SS7 my antagonist role. I would have claimed day seer and gotten him lynched, but because the gym meta has no such roles in the back history, you guys probably wouldn't have done it.

By the way; Team Dead Guys Inc is a real thing. It's a message board where we've been watching the game with all the information in our hands, making commentary and taking bets and predictions.

Team Dead Guys consisted of (in order of death):
Cabd (Night Killed)
SS7 (Lynched)
sdrawkcab (Night Killed)
Napoleon (Night Killed)
Akane (Night Killed)

I'm curious to see how the bets/predictions lined up with the actual results :)

For the record. I lied (no suprise)
I did NOT use my role on SS7 Night 1
I targeted Diaz and he was protected.

I discovered it mid-day after agreeing with SS7 because of his speech impediment. I thought he was a seer. Then as I begin examining it. I made the connection. I then had to ask my dad if Gandalf had any big enemies and he told me about Sauramon and I was all o_O "ZOMG"

Cabd~ Great play on D1. You LEAD the wolves target lists. Very well done, and you stood out as the strongest and most visible player D1. Excellent job!

I KNEW you were Gandalf on your first post. KNEW IT.

However. What I SHOULD have done was come out swinging D2. I should have realized that my time was up and use that to the best of my ability.

I could have claimed Gandalf ASAP on D2 and tried to get you lynched. I don't know if that would have worked, but it was worth a shot.

Wouldn't that have gotten you killed D3?

Me being on the "Let's lynch PMysterious anyways guys" bandwagon probably did not help my survivability rate.

As soon as my role card or his role card flipped, it was inevitible that the other would die. (Wolves would kill me due to them knowing that SS7 could power up, would assume I had powered up. Town because... see day two.)

So that way he gets an additional kill done on a townie by the town; instead of having to waste a night role on me.

The SECOND he and I got those two linked roles, we were both dead IMO

I honestly think that the Town played too good for me. To make it even worse, it was RR or die. There could've been some ways to prevent Role-Revealing so that way it limits options and actually a way to keep new players alive longer. Also, Ghetsis was honestly not that powerful. I could play around with his role in every game with Drayden role-revealed and I would still see the Werewolves losing. Its misleading to think the Alpha Wolf was not the most-powerful role and it wasn't. And the items, they moved too fast paced. Did I get a single Pokemon (excluding Reshiram and Cofraigus) in this whole game? Sadly, no. I would have loved Swoobat on the wolf side.

Most indubitably. (to Cabd)

That is the primary reason I don't like paired roles, or at least obvious paired roles like that.

In XV and XII the paired roles were town, but in this one it was clear that they were a T/W set, which means we were both out the door from the start of the game. Regardless you played well and it was fun. It's been a while since I've played on the wolves side.

I called 3 of the wolves correctly before TDGI was told who the others were. Napoleon got... 4? 5? I forget.

100% agreed. Not sure what I would do in the future for things like this, but I would come up with something else.
