Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Werewolf xvi the rise of team plasma: Town wins

The SECOND he and I got those two linked roles, we were both dead IMO

Ya, the mirrored speech impeds was one of my favorite ideas. I genuinely did not know if people would figure it out. When D2 was going on for a bit, I felt that maybe no one would notice and that people would forget about it eventually. Then right as I thought it was going to just blow over, AT came out swinging with his first wall post.

Also, Ghetsis was honestly not that powerful.

Strongly disagree. Arguably most powerful role in the game.

Automatic extra kill is powerful + an extra one or two later if you survive. And the protection is a good roleblock against townies. And the -2 votes to lynch someone is INCREDIBLY powerful near LYLO. Admittedly, that would involve surviving a bit longer. Still, it was probably the most powerful role in the game. The godfather immunity to seers in the first place is powerful in a game with 2 seers and a name seer.

FWIW, I think Akane was done great injustice this game, a great example of vet mentality. She called out (correctly) KP, but since the vets didn't agree the rest of the town totally forgot her.

Ya, she did well there. KP was playing a solid game too. He only messed up twice. His D1 attitude towards Pmysterious was REALLY scummy and his gambit at the end cost him when AT was going out the door for sure.

@A/AM: I really hate to argue but don't you think Swoobat was more powerful than Ghetsis? Swoobat get's whole Role PMs. What does Ghetsis get? Reshiram which is absolutely hard to even use. (Why? Because it should already be a pain to even find Drayden.) All you have to do in order for Swoobat to come full is the Woobat and a Luxury Ball/Alder. End of story.

Akane did play very well. Almost the perfect rendition of a Doctor. Minus RR'ing as Doc in her accusation of KP. That was the only major flaw I saw aside from a bit of lurking.

PM ~ Ghestis was pretty powerful. However power also is affected by the knowledge of the player using said role. Because it was your first game, it is understandable that you weren't able to access his full power. But I'm sure that with more practice the utilization of roles like that will become easier and you'll be able to make a bigger impact in the game, even with "less powerful" roles.

@SS7: I guess you have a point.

@A/AM: I actually like to thank you for something other than a good experience. I used to dislike Ghetsis, now I hate him.

True, swoobat was a pretty powerful role. The probability of it evolving early is pretty low though. I actually ran some math about the probability of Lileep, Patrat, Woobat, and Munna evolving. Each one needed a specific item or the dreamworld on N10/15 (or faster with Ikrit/Scottistru's roles). Woobat by itself was not super powerful because it gave a copy of the PM that I returned to a player. So I had good control over what was sent back. It would typically only give enough info to hint at that persons role. If you targeted JP with it (priest), you would get nothing, If you targeted someone with no night role, you get nothing. If you target a Vigilante, you get nothing, etc. So it was definitely useful because targeting a seer with it could confirm the seer, but it wasn't SUPER powerful. Intersting to note that it confirmed KP's role but not his alignment.

Swoobat WAS considerably more powerful since a lot of players sent PMs but didn't necessarily get anything back. And seeing both sides of the transaction does give you the information that the player received, giving a much bigger indication of player alignment. I don't quite remember my final calculation for "Average night number on which Patrat/Woobat/Lileep/Munna would evolve" but it was somewhere around Night 9 for all of them. Note that Lileep/patrat are useless until then. Woobat was useful but not great until evolving.

That said, I do believe I needed some sort of PP on these pokemons moves to prevent them from lasting forever.

I did not like having to spill almost all of my role to get a Sun stone. I get it, and *poof-kaboom* I got taken out by that pesky ice cube. All of my work to get nothing.

I knew the Pokeball was bad news, I was not going to use it but to pass it off onto a player I thought was a wolf. I thought if I attempted to use it, the Pokemon would retaliate and attack me instead. I did not think it would kill me right after picking it up. Oh well.

It was funny. AT sent me a PM asking me hypothetically if he could pick it up despite having an item. Then he sent another PM immediately saying something like "ABORT ABORT DO NOT WANT"

As a simple reminder to those who put themselves on "invisible" mode only for this game, you may resume your normal visible mode.

Just a reminder is all. (Last game I was in, I spaced it and was invisible for a while!)

That game was very fun. I am looking forward to playing in the next WW game if I get a chance. Specially since I missed the one on 6P :p

This was a fun game. I'll post more when I get to the airport later today.

Hey TGDI... Link to your graveyard?

AAM, I think did a commendable job. Thank you for your hard work and efforts Sure there were issues and I have some comment about them but it has to wait. Work first.

I'd link to the graveyard right now, but we uh... kinda said some things in not so nice ways about people. I'll see what the others think.

Firstly Arcanine/Arbok Master, I want to thank you and applaud your effort of taking the time to host this game for us! I have hosted games on other sites before, I know what it's like to have to commit to writing interesting updates while not giving away too much. Your updates were very strong, they were comparable to Absoltrainer's updates in the last game in that they didn't give away too much information but were fun and interesting to believe. I believe you perfectly maintained the balance between in-game flavor and information.

I had a great time and am looking forward to the next one! Fantastic job, you were a brilliant moderator A/AM!

Who is moderating the next game? It's okay if it hasn't been discussed yet, I'm just curious.
