Yep, Slowking, and some insane card-drawing trainers (when there was no such thing as 'Supporter') all the way from Base pretty much meant that the game was over before it even begun (i.e. decided on coin flip). Of course, there are other unlimited decks out there that are just as insane...

*shudders* the WotC days

let us thank the Poke-gods they are gone. SLowking was just wrong on so many levels- sneasel, murkrow and the whole baby rule in general

Rainbowgym... option 2.. You know it makes sense! LOL

offer 100 copies at $2 each ????

No more like 10 copies for $3 each, let's keep this a little elite please.
I am going to give away 1 copy, so that would make 11 people (12 when counting me in) happy.

Mayby I should start a topic in the Deck or Trading part of the gym, to see if I can get buyers.
I saw a lot of people almost demanding there towards Jimmy to give/publish his list, well $3 to get it is not that much.

Pokedaddy Lia is right . Why would a consumer choose to purchase at $25 when the same product is available at $3?

... which kind of brings me back to the whole issue of copyrights. One of which is the right to sell multiple copies of the product.

Not sure if its apocryphal or true but I am convinced that the majority of laws are to do with ownership and the protection of the owners. Life would be much simpler if we didn't *own* stuff!

Oh man, this is hilarious :D

It is! Dude, putting the list on ebay is genius. Make a statement AND make some cash? Sounds like a good deal to me. Personally I'd rather save the $25 and make a good list myself, but ya know, that's just me.

Seriously... I've seen people on here asking Jimmy to look at their lists and tell them if it's good. I'm sure this point has been run into the ground already (or at least I hope it has), but if you take a guess at it and play some games, you'll know if its good or not. If you get destroyed by something, make some changes! How do you think Jimmy got his list? There's no reason anyone with any deckbuilding skills whatsoever can't do the same. Make it, test it, make necessary changes, and repeat until the list is how you want it. Not to mention "THE" list may not even work in your metagame.

Last year around cities I got about 10 PMs asking for a T2 Whiscash list, I wonder if that would've sold well on ebay

Probably way too political for a forum like Pokegym, but not owning stuff would be kinda like communism. Even China, the biggest communist country is allowing market forces (i.e. the concept of ownership) in to its economy - and it is fast becoming the richest country in the world because of it.

Ownership will always bring winners and losers on a local level, but overall, the entire community/country/world is better off if those who specialise in a product (here decklists) can sell it to those who can't make decklists. The seller makes some cash and the buyer hopefully a decent list - everyone wins.

im pretty sure tagrineth has sour grapes over not making destiny...

I...

...care?

I can't even go to pokemon tournaments. I went to one CC, because it was in MY city. LOL I didn't go to states and I seriously doubt I'll get to go to regionals, so having a competitive deck is totally shrug worthy to me. My local metagame consists of about four or five people, two of whom play decks I built, and one of whom takes advice from me constantly on his decks.
