Why don't most competitive players bling out their decks?

As a collector I'm typically against it. I tend to play with the lowest rarities of cards in order to preserve my full arts, reverse holos, etc. They can't be damaged if I don't play with them, after all.

Should Masters get different promos at events?

I disagree with having separate promos for each age division. It just creates another unnecessary hurdle for collectors and will drive up the price of cards in age divisions with lower attendance. It would far better to just print promo variants of more playable cards in general and distribute...

Petition to Pokemon USA, Inc./Promo Tins

I'm on board. This has been a huge pet peeve of mine for years, ever since tins were first introduced to the game, in fact. I've noticed this as well and feel the same way. I especially hate how, with many cards, the corners are raised just enough above the rest of the card that they get...

Plasma Blast Elite Trainer Box revealed (as well as the set sell sheet)

I don't tend to double sleeve at premier events anyway, as it makes the deck a bit too thick for my liking, but I've yet to find any direct mention of double sleeving being disallowed in any sort of tournament document. Are these the floor rules in question? Or is it a different document...

Plasma Blast Elite Trainer Box revealed (as well as the set sell sheet)

As King Piplup said, it's up to the head judge. Double sleeving doesn't magically create marked cards, but if a marked card situation does arise it's of course treated as such. You just have to make sure your oversleeves are free of markings and replace them if the wear causes particular cards...

Plasma Blast Elite Trainer Box revealed (as well as the set sell sheet)

I think it's worth mentioning that you can always opt to double sleeve, making the quality of the sleeves in question more or less irrelevant.

    Japan's Ex Battle Boost Set

Yes. The artwork on the card is a reference to its original PokeDex entries from Diamond and Pearl.

    Japan's Ex Battle Boost Set

5ban Graphics won't be going anywhere, it's just the name of Creatures' own in-house art team.

The legality of Playtcgme and Bebes search websites??

Yes, the majority of Bushiroad's operations are out of Singapore and Japan. They only recently opened an office in Los Angeles to further support their products and organized play in North America.

Will the XY TCG era be longer than the BW era?

It wasn't just an international thing either as Platinum was marketed as a new block in Japan as well.

Will the XY TCG era be longer than the BW era?

I think they're speaking more to generations then they are to blocks. In the English TCG, both Generation III and Generation IV had exactly 16 sets. The current generation has far fewer sets, but that's mainly because Generation V is a "filler" generation, for lack of a better term. It was...

Japan’s July Set: ‘EX Battle Boost’

If this were any other TCG I'd be inclined to agree with you, but it's not. We've already seen all too well what "variety" does to this game and it is not good. Unless Creatures specifically balances XY for use with the BW sets TPCi should tread extremely carefully.

Pokémon Battle Chess heading to Italy

I already have, actually. I was really just saying that an official English release would give the game much more exposure.

Pokémon Battle Chess heading to Italy

Here's hoping the rest of the world gets it, too. It really is a fantastic game and would make another great alternative activity for league.

    Prize Increase for States!

Except that, as baby mario suggested, the 15+ crowd are the majority of every TCG's competitive community. There are plenty of younger fans, they exist in droves; however, there aren't nearly as many of them participating in OP. This is why Pokemon consistently has great sales, yet typically...

    Prize Increase for States!

There's definitely some kind of regulation, but I'm not exactly sure what it entails. In fact, the reason why YGO cards in the English anime are edited to not look like their real-life counterparts is to comply with the FCC.

Need help with Pokemon related data entry project. Pays 2x Booster Boxes.

I'd like to be on the waiting list. I've no idea what this project entails, but if someone drops out I'd be glad to help.

Change From Tradition to Better the Game

If you're using current or past formats and cards to test reverse prizing it will likely feel awkward. That's of course because the cards you're playing with simply weren't designed for it. New cards and mechanics will have to be designed with reverse prizes in mind, so testing it with what we...

Change From Tradition to Better the Game

The main complaint I hear about the prize system is that, unlike many other games, it continually rewards the player who's ahead and not the player who's behind. Michael Elliot, the man who designed Duel Masters for WotC (as well as many Magic cards during his time there) and Battle Spirits for...

Future EX's and the remainer of Black and White format

History does. They could easily decide to break the mold, though.
