Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

AMU vs: Machamp SF

The average damage of Machamps Hurricane Punch is 60. With 3 Heads it STILL OHKOs everything in AMU, Unown G or otherwise. The idea AMU beats it solely because it can get past Take Out's effect is ridiculous. With Buck's or Pluspower it can take out any Pixie that isn't Lv. X yet.

Moreover, Machamp isn't going to be a lone actor. Luminion IFDS and Machamp together absolutely stone AMU by bringing an unportected basic down and OHKO'ing it. Machamp could also be used with Mewtwo Lv. X tech. Mewtwo takes out the Unown G equipped Pixies, Machamp can wipe out the rest.

I also predict Devoluter will be popular. Considering you can do a guaranteed 40 or gamble on a probably 60, getting rid of Stage 2's will be helpful. You might even see Omastar variants.

You can have fun doing that. GJ... you now lose to every other deck in the format. >_>

If people can get Kingdra on T1 75% of the time (or a lot), then why can't they get Machamp? Both stage 2's. Both only need 1 energy.

I play enough switch/warp point/stall cards that my amu will fly around and Machamp just won't
be able to catch me. Turn 1 donk is the only problem I can think of, but you'd have to be building your
deck around it, like kingdra, and sure, that will be AMU, but not much else.

Because itt we pretend getting a single Stage 2 with 4-2-4 with 4 Candies is slower than getting out 3 Lv. Xs.

Machamp's 3rd attack is the hardest to use, but it takes out basically every deck that can't KO it. Maybe use Stark Mountain and Regirock. Anyway, the idea still needs more developing.

I think you also might use it with the reprinted Cyclone and Warp energies(Warp mostly with Lumineon to keep bringing it back in.)

Anyway, it has a lit of potential.

lol thats such a brilliant response. *most overlooked smiley ever* Anyways, champ isn't going to be a main force, but if your counting it out, then obviously something is wrong.

AMU will win if you have a mr.mime in your AMU.
it's a auto win.
are you really going to tech in 2 cards to beat a deck that won't be played that much and get some bad starts? I also think its sort of unreasonably with unkown G, just to beat one deck that we know won't be played much!? Unless there's that much room left in the deck...I would rather put those spaces to better use.

Unown G is good against lots of SF decks.
