Ash's father: the final debate!

Chronicles aint bad.

Although I think it puts worthless stories in it. Like the team rocket episode.

But I dont think its totally bad seeing whats going on with characters Ash once traveled with. The Richie episodes is some of the best of the chronicle series, the Misty ones aint bad either.

Look... its obviously not prof. oak because when ash went back in time with celebi, he found prof. oak and they became very good friends. Almost at the end of that movie prof. oak says goodbye my good friend or best friend.... something like that... after ash leaves to set out for a new adventure.

Dude, don't even go there. No professor theory except professor Oak is going to be funny enough, nor credible enough to be worth looking at. Oak is just funny though, it has no crediblity whatsoever.

I think when you gauge the value of evaluating your theories on their comedy value, you've lost all right to claiming you're having any kind of intelligent discussion.

And really, I don't think anybody wants to look stupid...

you're just jealous cause i thought of it.

rowan seems like a respectable man. i man that delia may have been attracted to. and rowan is friends with oak...and oak lives right near delia in pallet town. we wait for further evidence!

Marril, you of all people should know this by now. This is a gigantic joke thread. We're just having a little fun at the expense of the show writers.

Having character depth at all in a show like Pokémon is pretty good. Everybody's a danged cliché. Ash is the not-so-great hotshot protagonist who lucks out all the time. Misty is the loudmouthed, impulsive love interest (at least in the fanbase) for said protagonist. Brock is the lecherous guy with more skill than the rest of them (he's an ex-gym leader for cripe's sake). May is the ditzy, not-very-good female protagonist. Team Rocket are the imcompetent villains who fail comically every episode. Giovanni is the shadowy villain leader. Gary is the good, yet arrogant rival for the protagonist. See where I'm going? Each description fits the character to a T, but none is very original at all. Kenta/Marine/Jounouchi have more character depth than Ash/Misty-or-May/Brock.

hello? misty is a gym leader too!

Yes, but Misty came back and proved that as a Gym Leader she was pretty danged good. She wasn't even a Gym Leader when she was travelling around with Ash, so she gets leeway for that. Brock... sucks as much as ever.

Yes, but am I really the only one who thinks jokes should be at least halfway intelligent?

Clearly Sam and David from Pokémon SS are the parents. Despite that Sam is younger than Ash. But that's what Celebi is for.

Hey, Sam/David are literally equally as likely as anything else. People posting "evidence" just makes me think of that old AAML crap.

And that's a very bad thing.

maybe YOU are ash's father, and you're trying to cover it up by trying to stop the discussion.

ok, THAT was ridiculous, but this thread sure isn't

i dono who it is i had a thought not to lng ago about james from team rocket but ash dedfinatly has a brother.....................richie

there's only one way to settle this. ash's mom has to go to the maury show and get a bunch of guys tested.

it's not oak. because oak isn't a pokemon trainer. and it's not giovanni because Ash's mom would never sleep with giovanni. it's a pokemon cartoon show. Not some soap opera trash.
