Iunno about that, Floatzel SV hits it for weakness. It has a lower overal damage output but that blow on weakness might just tip the scales in Floatzel's favor.

But it has a terrible Luxchomp matchup; in addition to being mediocore to both Sablock and Haymaker. I would suggest teching in a PR Raichu to combat both the Grovyle rush matchup, the mirror matchup, the GG matchup, in addition to making the Donphan matchup easier.

if we are talking about the cool arcanine if it has a energy attached, well a fire one. It has no weakness.

Oh God, we've reached the 'joke deck' stage.

Expect another 3 pages of posts about Bibarel/Mismagius before this gets locked.

at autumn battle roads last year i beat a gyarados with an arcanine sv, ninetales pl, and manectric pl deck because my friends bet my i couldnt. Everyone at the battle roads that day was running dos (for them most part) . now keep in mind this was before expert belt. so they would hit my arcanine which i memo berry, so that i could use stoke and hit next turn and one shot a gyarados with rage. really they had no other choice but to hit me or do no damage at all.

honestly im not even joking lol.

my god, i post my opinions on a deck and i get infractions like crazy, where are the mods when you need them ?

What? Thread is evolving?

Congratulations! Your thread evolved into On Topic!

Luxchomp>Vilegar>Gyarados>Dchomp>Sablock

lol i am thinking more towards gyarados as BDIF right now. it's seeming to be absolutely insane with the new cards. :/

Gdos is a great deck but I don't see it as BDIF it still can loose hard. a 3-1 Luxray with Lucario can almost seal you a win vs gdos. Also gdos can have problems with DialgaChomp. No trainers can hurts. Also any deck that runs judges can screw you. You impersonate for a Collector get your karps and regi or whatever you need and they just get judged away. The best way to combat gdos is judge. The card single handedly destroys the deck. They never have the 100% recovery. Don't get me wrong I love gdos but there is no way it can be a BDIF when a card like judge destroys it.

No one considered arceus? It can hit any weakness and has various resistances.

. . . that neither Dialga or Machamp care about.

Arceus is decent, fun, and probably under rated, but it doesn't belong in any of PokeGym's 743 BDIF threads.

Then I will start a new one...maybe we need at least 750 for it to make an appearance!

Well, we have had a new set released, and the only thing that really got a lot of help was Gyarados (tons of help) and Gengar picked up the Prime. If you want to hang a question mark out because of those, that's fine. But, lets not forget the last 6 months of Pokemon competitive play: Luxchomp IS BDIF. At the very least, until something knocks it off the mountain. The only thing that has really changed is...nothing. Luxchomp STILL hits Gyarados for weakness, Machamp STILL KO's SP, and Vilegar is STILL slow. Using this logic, how can anyone say Luxchomp isn't BDIF after its domination at BR?
