I was a victim of there theif ways. They stole my worlds top 32 promos,ds games,30-50 packs i got of legend maker and crystal guardians, Bookbage, Silver deckbox for being a worlds competiter, My millions of reverse holos i traded off ppl, Rares, Good commons,Uncommons, its crazy.
Im pressing charges soon. One other guy who got robbed they stole his money,Flights, Cards mad crazy!
One of the guys they put in handcuffs. I would have took a picture but my camera they stole and it was in my bag. So no snapshot!
All i know is from dropping cards to droppin soap this is when keeping it real goes wrong. ~ Rip off of dave chappelle.
 
efrain and schutte somehow got their bans shortened. schutte apparently wrote an apology letter...but why did efrain get his shortened? it makes no sense. the original ban was 10 years
 
I am surprised that their ban was not lifetime.

These are EXACTLY the type of people we do not need anywhere around the game.

Yeah, but, I am sorry, I have NO tolerance for this...I know what type of hell they put not only the people they stole from through, but also PUI through...

I hope they serve time.

I agree. Ban them 4 life, stealing is just wrong. Especially to the extent at which they stole. Sounds to me that they should be banned from all TCg games but, no one has the pwer to do that.
 
Were the stolen items returned to their proper owners?? Vince is correct, there should be no tolerance for this sort of thing. My way of thinking is if this is the first time they were caught, it is probably NOT the first time they have done this sort of thing.

Are these guys minors or adults??
 
They were Adults. One of them tried to steal my hat, but I knew if he did he'd also tried to pick-pocket me. I would of took action. I'm glad they're banned.

Lets clarify a few things. As far as I know all 3 people were minors. The police do have some stuff recovered/surrendered that belongs to me, Gdog and possibly Pooka. For those who don't know they stole Gdogs winning from t32ing at worlds, pooka's binder, and my entire bag which contained all my decks, all my ex/star/tournament cards, and many, many other things including my itmes for helping staff worlds, as well as my gameboy/DS. Nothing has been returned to any of us yet as the police are busy with more important criminal cases and (other than prosecuting the offenders) it could be quite a long time before the police get around to our case. Not to mention that many of our cards had be mixed to together so to speak, with the different offenders moving cards from binders/decks.

A warning for everyone else, these players had been stealing stuff from people all weekend, most without even knowing it (pooka didn't realise his binder was gone until he was on the plane) The only reason they were caught is because they were seen on camera mutiple times walking into the the free play room with nothing and coming out with bags/other items. Obviously the story gets more complex but I will say their actions kept me from sleeping all of sunday night and nearly caused me to miss my plane ride home. Bottom line, always watch your stuff. I was in a room full of people most of whom I considered friends and we were all equally distracted playing games/trading and so forth. They were an organized team looking for exactly this opportunity to steal things. I heard that many japanese players had items stolen as well. All I can say is that it is going to be really tough to get the cards I need in time for cities if I cannot get my things back by then.

wow, this was a year i was glad i didnt go to worlds, but im amazed peopls stuff were stolen so easily like come on its worlds, anything can happen with that many people walking around. but besides that like everyone else said they should be banned for life and cant belive the years was reduced b/c of an apology letter come on thats ***. as well as not returning everything thwy stole. it would at least be nice if they come to nationals or something this year u know what i mean ^_^
