Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Big news on 1/8/13 - Pokemon X and Y

solarpichu, Pokemon is not ending. Who would think that? Have you checked to sales lately? Pokemon sells as the 2nd best card game unfortunely after MTG. But anyways imagine if they making B3W3 with 200 new Pokemon and you play in every region and catch every Pokemon including the event ones and Legendary Pokemon finally have a evolution. It would be the best selling game in Pokemon's history!

I think it would be cool if legendaries didn't have evolutions but an extreme form when there HP gets low at certain areas where there is an 'Extreme aura of Power' that they get powerful.

Pokebeach Update! Pokemon's twitter page asked, "Trivia Time! How many possible Eevee evolutions are there?" WPM also noticed that the date that the big announcment was on 1/8 (Eevee and it evolutions plus a new one). Ash will probably battle Virgil and his eevee will evolve into a new type and Ash losses. After the tournament Team Plasma will freeze over the Pokemon league using Kyurem and that's where N comes into play.

PTCGO on 3DS which has a story mode (similar to the GB ones. Yes there was more than one) and after that story mode (you get money and packs during story, but can only use money after story) you have access to a shop which uses in-game currency as it was already bought with 50$/€/£ (gained after each battle) to buy ANY card in the game. This game would include every set (BS-on) and have wifi capability. Friend battles can have any set restrictions unlimited, BW-BC, MD-BC, TR-GE whatever. Without glitches. Random battles would have unlimited option or modified format only.

There would be special cards that don't exist, but only usable ingame and friend wifi matches.

Just saying. PTCGO better with no glitches on a handheld device. I mean really it would sell SO MANY COPIES. SO MANY.

Also inspired by pokemon TCG dying in Finland.

Nintendo. I am begging you and please please please hear this. :pp

If it is true about new Eevee evolutions- looks as if EeveeLover might be unable to mod for a short time due to passing out from over excitement!:tongue:

If that's what it comes down to, (New Eeveeolutions), we deny everything to EeveeLover.

IF, and that is a big if, there are new Eeveelutions, I will be too busy jumping for joy to worry about the Gym is doing for a day or two...

That being said, if there are new ones, I hope they are at least cool for the TCG - meaning new types of existing energy and just not the same thing...

Glaceon and Vapoeron are both water in my mind, as I don't play the VG very often. Bring us Metal or Dragon or Fighting....

If they do a NEW Eeveelution it will probably be Ground, because Vilgil's Eevee knows dig.

Well, they'd certainly have lots of Eeveelutions to choose from. Here are the ones we haven't explored yet:

Normal - surprise surprise. It never occurred to me until now that it might actually be great to have an evolution of the same type. Better stats, possibly better abilities, yeah, I can see how it might work.

Fighting - I must confess, just out of my own experience, this evolution would be the least favorite for me, but hey, I'd still use it, just for the novelty of course. I can see it being more useful in the video game though being super effective against 5 types.

Poison - Meh, we already have a grass evolution for the TCG, so since poison pokemon usually are given grass types I can't see it being all that groundbreaking. However an Eeveelution that can poison might be cool for the video game. I'd use it in a heartbeat.

Ground - Now here's a very effective possibility. In the video game, it would be super effective against 5 types, just like fighting pokemon, but in the TCG it could be helpful against Big bad electric types. Might be worth a visit.

Flying - Sure, an eeveelution that looks like a pegasus, how cool would that be? And a pain for Genesect, yep, I'd like that.

Bug - Hmmm, for the TCG maybe not such good news due to current typing which would change it to either psychic or grass which we already have, but it would be useful for the video game against overabundant grass and psychic, and the occasional dark pokemon.

Rock - Useful in both TCG and VG, yeah, a lot like ground. Can't think of even a poor excuse not to use it if it becomes available.

Ghost - Another Meh, might be ok for the VG, but typing would be redundant in the TCG.

Steel - Here's the one that would seem most logical for the TCG, but maybe not so great for the VG. In the VG there doesn't seem to be a predominant number of big bad ice and rock pokemon to contend with to see a need for that Eeveelution - but then again, that might change with a 6th generation.

My favorite hopeful Eeveelution would have to be Dragon. I think a lot of people feel the same way. It might not be great for either VG or TCG, but it would still be cool regardless, since it would be so popular.

And hey, who says that the pokemon company has to limit themselves to just revealing ... one .... new Eeveelution? Or how about maybe even some new DUAL TYPE Eeveelution? Wow, the possibilities ... Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the 6th generation games if even some of this comes to pass!

The thing about Eevee is that it evolves to be able to adapt to the area it lives in. All of Eevee evolutions cover that. They may be able to add a Poison type eeveelution but I dont see anything else possible for it unless they plan to disregard what eevee does. Then again, Eevee is one of those mysteries the professor of Pokemon cant solve. That and Pokemon Eggs...that they have no idea how they got there.

maybe......a pokemon game for wii u...............:thumb::thumb::thumb:

I just realized. We don't have a home console game for this generation do we? In which case I'd only want them to not make it like PBR, maybe storyline, maybe more similar to Stadium with the neat additions, but just more in general.

How would a Pokemon Colosseum like game sound?

I'm seeing more and more hints that this is Wii U related, actually.

I hope its not for the same reason why they did not release Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 on the 3DS. If their reason for that was not enough people had the 3DS, then why release it on a system no one really has because it just released.

I hope its a Wii release if it is a console game. It would be SICK if it were a StarFox Pokemon related game.

Correct. First-party development on the Wii is over. Similarly, first-party development on the DS is over, with Black 2 White 2 being a "swan song" for the system.

I'm pretty sure they're just going to announce the re-introduction of legend cards to the Pokemon TCG.

Pokemon Legend EX Rule - If your opponent knocks out this Pokemon, they take 2 prize cards instead of one. Your opponent may choose to flip a coin. If they do, if heads, they take an extra prize card, if tails, they must put a card from their hand into their prize cards.

Mewtwo & Mew Legend EX

300 HP - Psychic Type

Ability: Copy Cat - This Pokemon can use the attack of any Pokemon in play. It does not need to pay the attack cost.

Ability: Celebration Wind - You may move any Energy attached to any of your Pokemon to any of your other Pokemon in any way you like.

2X-Ball - CC - 60x - This attack does 60 damage times the number of Energy attached to both Pokemon. Ignore all effects on the Defending Pokemon.

Psychic Weakness, 2 Retreat

Keldeo and Kyurem Legend EX

320 HP - Water Type

Ability - Side Step - If this Pokemon is on your bench, you may switch it with your Active Pokemon. If this Pokemon is your Active Pokemon, you may switch it with one of your benched Pokemon. You may only use one Side Step Ability per a turn.

Sword of Justice - CCC - If the Defending Pokemon is a Pokemon, that Pokemon is knocked out. Discard an Energy attached to the Defending Pokemon.

Metal and Grass Weakness, 3 Retreat

Celebi, Shaymin, and Virizion Legend EX

110 HP, Grass Type

Ability: Synthesis - Once during your turn, you may attach a Grass Energy to one of your Pokemon from your hand or your deck. If you take the Energy from your deck, your turn ends.

GC - Giga Drain - 30 - Heal from this Pokemon the amount of damage you did to the Defending Pokemon.

GG - Revenge Seed - Flip a coin. If heads this attack does 60 damage times the number of prize cards your opponent has taken. If tails, this attack does nothing.

Water Resistance, Fire Weakness, 1 Retreat

Speculation is a troll to anticipation

I do think that if 6 Gen Pokemon are created (in the woks/already made)- it will have an impact to the TCG of course. The TCG follows the VG in so many ways, the TCG will benefit in one way shape form or another because of the VG.

Just glad to have anything new is all!
