Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Blissey too strong?

Wrongo once more. We tend to be a bit later, yes, thanks to that LOVELY Nintendo who just LOVES to screw Europe (Glances at late July DP release), but we are pretty even now. Our BR format is HP-MT just as much as yours.

Funny how you accuse me of having an IQ that is below 50 while you can\\\'t even spell \\\"your\\\".

really? interesting, i head read a few complaints about there bieng no pokemon recovery cards in the BR format, and simply caught on to the fact you guys didnt have mt
i assumed that delaying an entire tournoment season would be big news and i would hear about it
then i remembered i was banned, and out of it for a loop

and i can spell \"your\" correctly, but every time i put in an apostrophe in, my internet automatically add in back slash marks

like this can\'t

not to mention intelegence has absolutely nothing to do with spelling... <_<

How can I play Blissey if we are a set behind?
It\'s different from country to country, but most of them are now using HP-MT.
In our country the choice was made to delay BR untill after we were allowed to use MT.
I am happy with that decission, I don\'t like it to switch format in the middle of a series events.
Most of all because most of us ever played a tournament including DP1.
We went from DX-PK over to HP-MT.

really? i had not heard about this
i really should pay more attention to european news...

blissey is the bdif until we get secret wonders
at which point blissey will lose a considerable amount of power

All this hype about a new set making the old bdif cards less powerful. What in SW makes Blissey less powerful? Most of the time the bdif gets better because of a new set.

for starters, gallade
not to mention the best version of blissey is the aggro one, which is just 4-4 blissey
only thing this deck can recieve is a few more trainers, and possibly one or two special energy
and from what ive seen, the only thing this deck is getting is leftovers

in the mean time, decks with more flexability and new decks made with blissey in mind will become more viable and populous, and will most likely overtake poor old blissey

i could be 100% wrong, naturally
we havent got the entire set translations yet, and there could be something there that makes blissey even more powerful
but based on what ive seen from decks like this in the previous years, i highly doupt it

Blissey is indeed a force. We use Japanese cards here and even in our environment Blissey still works rather fine. However, it does not entire dominate since there are more fast aggro decks to choose. From the few test runs conducted thus far some Eeveelution builds are able to take down Blissey since they match it's speed and consistency.

Arcanine does not impress me that much in Blissey from the few times I have seen that combo because Arcanine can be taken down fast once it knocked out the defender. Blissey combined with the new Weavile and Darkrai Lv.X is nice. Once the engine rolls it tends to create a snowball effect.

Hi PSYCO829,

Leftovers is more mediocre in Blissey since there are two new weenie rush decks similar to Blissey which are able to knock out the tank in one hit. Defenders help in this situation more than Leftovers.

Only if you have WP, FF, Fire, and Water attatched at the same time will it stop gallade, for the most part.

and if you do, it would be worth flipping over 3-4 prizes to take you out just because of all the resources you invested into one pokemon

we do care about europe, we just arent going to focus on europes metagame AND our own
especially not since you guys are a set behind us

we are officially equal, exactly 1 week ago, they decided that MT is officially released in england! though because of no pre-release, won't be playable in tournies until the 20th -_-

but from now on, we get SW same time as you and your cat's mother!

...and?
was there a point to this post?

lolganium - we were allowed to play MT from the very first BR on.

Anyway, you can't counter both Gallade attacks at once without investing insane resources in it. Just can't.

Blissey will get concurrention from the Eeveelutions who are looking pretty neat so far. Big setup decks will still keep their impact since they outgun the T2 decks in the long run, and as such the format will divide more and more.

no we had a br the saturday after, no MT allowed, from the phone to the officials.

t2 should be able to stop the opponent setting up, sowing them down, meaning by the time they setup, it's already over.

blissey
playing crystal beach
yeah, ok... =/

and in case you didnt notice (and judging from your post, you didnt), i said HAVE A WAY, NOT ALWAYS WILL
that means the blissey player needs to live in fear, wondering when and if their opponent is going to make the great comeback and beat them down

Is it me or did anyone else notice the 200hp Wailord in DP4? It makes Blissy's hp look like a basic's in comparison.
