Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Boundaries Crossed

That`s so biased considering it was near impossible to get on during that time

It would take more effort and cause more outrage to go back and figure out who got what and shouldn't have, then remove those cards than to just do a fix going forward.

Fwiw, I logged on in the morning and got crazy pulls too. So firstly, it wasn't only the middle of the night and secondly, a mistake/glitch can't be som biased thing. I was a mistake. A bug. they didn't hold some special hour long super pack session at an odd hour to intentionally cater to those up at that time.

There's much to gripe to tpci about, but sheesh, pick your battles.

Yea, I opened a box's worth of codes (36 packs) and saw that thing were probably messed up. Overall, I got 6 EXs, 2 Ace Specs, and some other stuff. From the pack spread I could see that things were kind of messed up but in the end I think it balanced out. I got a lot of really bad packs and a few really good packs. In fact, my end pull rate was about the same as what I got from my RL box :p

Video of my pulls on my youtube channel (see signature)

I'm good with them getting it.

They benefited, good for them!

I didn't benefit, but I'm not losing anything either.

Don't get the problem.

I think the problem is that some people are just jealous because they couldn't log on when the packs were glitched and couldn't show off to their friends that they pulled 2 FA in the same pack. Not saying that I have a problem with this fix though.

It's good that they didn't take it away because this means that more people should have competitive decks or at least close to one if they pulled multiples of the good cards in the packs.

We weren't actually sure it would've been possible to do a rollback on the mistake... that was all speculation. It depends on how a number of things are coded, and also if they had backups of everone's collections prior to the initial BC release. I was one of the ones who got buggy packs, and I would have been fine with it either way.

Also think about the younger kids that play. Try telling them that they don't get to keep the awesome White and Black Kyurem EXs because the programmers messed up... That would go over real well with them...

Not getting rid of those cards from the bugged hours encourages abusing glitches to win more

Also in the user agreement contract they have rights over your cards they could get rid of all the cards from the bugged packs and refund your booster codes.

By no means does it encourage "abusing glitches"

The selfishness of this community sometimes…

If you place a bet at a bookie for the favorite at 12 instead of 1.2 because the bookie made an obvious mistake, he is allowed to cancel the bet. This is a very normal practice.

In my opinion, this incident shed a very bad light on the kind of quality control which is in place here. It appears, as if the booster collation working correctly has not been tested like at all. Just test-cracking 30-40 boosters before deploying the new program version should have made this error very apparent.

And don´t bug me with that "it´s a Beta"-yadda yadda. If this game should ever go into production, there must be provisions made to avoid something like that (and the other one bazillion bugs you see with every new set). It would be a good move to install them while this game is in Beta to test, if these provisions actually work.
