BR Donk Report Thread

I attended 3 BR's this weekend and I was on the receiving end of 4 Sableye Donks due to trainers being played. I only T2'd someone, but I was playing Vilegar so it wasn't like I really could

Went to some BR's over the two weekends (but didn't play in them-- just to see people). Sabledonk dominated seniors all four days. I think one of them went 5-0 two of the days and 4-1 the others. He even beat a kid who just ran 4-4 Zekrom Reshiram to beat the deck. BR's also had an all time low attendence :/ *crosses fingers for HGSS on Nats and Worlds*

I faced Sable Donk 5 times and only got Donked once. Two times they missed the donk on the first turn. Twice I started with a Spiritomb and the only time I lost was actually on his second turn. We played 3 battle roads this past weekend in Atlanta and as far as I know, the donk deck didn't win a tournament!

5 rounds in Master's, went 4-0, playing out all games for 25+ minutes.
Round 5, lost the flip, unown q to his uxie. Energy, GG.

in top 4, lost during time to machamp, who then lost to the same guy who donked me in about 5 minutes with 2 donks.

Once they are over they need time to check all the data.

If they are going to wait for all Battle Roads to be over, it will be mid June, as our BR isn't until June 12th. I would have thought they would have had enough data collected by now to make a decision though.

The original release states "Early June". Battle Roads are over in mid-June. I'm think data from the first 2-3 weekend of Battle Roads is PROBABLY enough. ;)

Could be wrong but i doubt they would use partial data. Partial data proves nothing. If it does why not use partial data to decide the rankings. That is PROBABLY enough.

Something to note, that some folks are playing "fun" or less competitive decks at Battle Roads or K=4.

They aren't concerned about Ranking, thus some matches do not reflect the domination of Sableye builds.

If Sableye is allowed for Nat's, which are Ultra Competitive, thus people bringing there best decks, then you will see Nat's a donk fest.
