Well run event my fellow PTO, and congrats to your Crew, Patrick and Chris if I recall. The hotel was nice, but, you may need a bigger venue next year!


I couldn't leave without buying one of those Pokemon Organized play shirts you made up - great thinking!

I won' t take advantage of this opportunity to mention I had to play my wife in round three or my sparing partner sdrawcrab in round four.....both of whom beat me fair and sqaure...ish...

We had driven up from Oregon the night before, left there at 10 pm for the 6 hour drive, and got in at 4 a.m.:eek:

But that can't hold a candle to Chris, and Oregon PTO, who, at the same time as us, loaded up his van with 7 more players besides himself, drove up ( a good part of the way right beside us on the highway) and then slept in the van for the four hours!!!

Justin is right on about the hat, it has been around for a while though. Wonder why he never said anything about the Pokemon watch...or pokemon pencil...or Pokemon belt pouch....or the energy symbol t-shirt....

Chris has to get the prize for the best Pokemon clothing - that Pikachu jean jacket rocks.

C.Nordquist here, The 2nd of the Aqua Grunts at the BC GC.

Got there early with Hauntasic, got everything filled out and before not long the games began.
Sdarwkcab gave us some Tim Hortons Donuts. Mmmm Donuts...thanks for that.

Match 1
Me Versus the Bye. and yes Sdarwkcab, I beat the Bye, I'm not as special as you.

Match 2
Sushi vs Jim (BLS).
I got an Okay start, But he got set up fairly quickly. I get my Gyarados Ex fully powered only to lose it to his Latios *... he finally gets a steelix out, my active is SHUCKLE....woo pointless at that point....he pings my Articuno ex twice for his last 2 Prizes.

Match 3
Sushi vs Thor (Liability)
to sut this one short I lost to his multiple weezing and Cursed stones....I take 3 prizes to his 6
Was fun to play against ya Thor

Match 4
My mind goes Blank right here, sorry to whom ever I played...but I do Know that I won this one

Match 5
Sushi vs Penny (Dustox Ex)
she had a really bad start. she got a T2 muk then nothing, I started with a Articuno Ex, got it powered up by turn 3 and on tunr 4 a win for me,
We played a game afterwards, she started out alot better, I eventually won, but I earned this one..Good game for the second one

my end result 10th out of 30, 15+

- Getting the bye first round....
- Forgetting who I played in the 4th round...

I've been iching to play ya again since the Provincals when i lost to ya in the finals.
Hopefully I get top 4 at the nationals and
than see ya at the Worlds.

Haha at least some one remembers the donuts I gave them =P
I forgot how I almost lost to the bye in round 2....it was perty close. =P

Well he went 0-2 then I'm not sure if he lost or forfited the last game since Seb just won....maybe he did both simultaniously....or something :p

Does anybody know what the final attendence figures are for the three age groups? Also, does anybody have any pics from the event that they can upload to pokegym?

You can use your own proxied cards in a tournament ??
How does this work ?
I thought only the judge can supply a proxy card, of a card that has been damaged, or lost during the tournament or something ??

Please let me know.

I believe APT is refering to a side-match played before the start of the tournament. Your understanding of the use of proxies in an official, sanctioned tournament is correct.
