California State Championship!!- March 6 UPDATED

Scizor said:
I will say that "HAT" seems like a pretty good player, from what i saw at a CC. I don't even know who is in the 11-14 anymore in california, but he is pretty good, we'll see about that. Anyway for the REAL Competitive Division, Stripes i don't even think anyone in california has any idea WHO you or anyone in Nevada IS. California will win 15+ at states, end of discussion.

Must have missed me when I went down there for one of your gym challenges. Made top 4. Since you made such a big deal of you not knowing me. On my way up before top 8 I did a 0-6 prize count on Nyguyen. Me 0 him 6. Though this has no significance to me. Also I am the only person here in Nevada that seems to have been able to beat HAT. Obviously if you can't beat HAT your way not ready for my level of game play. HAT is an awesome player and I personally can't wait till California states, he'll do a great job I can gurantee that.
I'm just shaking thinking of the almighty California players coming here to beat us Nevada players. I'll have the Nevada players ready for you guys. We'll give it all we have and I will gurantee the 15+ age group will not lose this time. (I wasn't in the 15+ last year just so you guys know)
You Cali players are on such high a pedestal give me some of your best accomplishments last year.

Okay,

2004 Riverside CC (15+) - 1st Place
2004 Fountain Valley CC (15+) - 2nd Place
2004 California State (15+) - 1st Place (100+ Players) :thumb:
2004 Arizona State (15+) - 2nd Place
2004 Arizona Gym Challenge (15+) - 1st Place :thumb:

plus a bunch of other Top 8's

OH MY GOD! THIS GUY Stripes can't even win an 11-14 GC and expects to go heads up with all of Cali!? That's funnier then the time I asked out Mindy Lambkee, or the time Sharif said he had a date.

That's just finaticism what you just did. Kevin Tran out of those names I highly respect. I won't even bother reading all of you post, thanks for putting Tran on top though.

Jesus Dunford.....

I can't wait till how this all unfolds, this is gonna be great.

Nevada can talk big, but i dont see them backing it up anywhere -_-, maybe just there local league, but i think thats it.

As I stated in the Nevada thread, lets cut the trashing. Let`s keep the mouths quiet and egos in check and prove yourselves at the tournament. Then we`ll see who the better players were. If you don`t have something nice to say, don`t post. We all know what happens otherwise.

N E ways...let nevada and all CALI haters talk there SMACK!!! All will "C" what we're made of in AUGUST 2005!!! But back to the TOPIC at HAND, CALI STATES!!! If our prereleases last weekend and most likely this weekend had big turnouts...I can only imagine as to what our STATES turnout will be??? I'm projecting 200 players??? Can we get this??? hmmm, possibly...check ya'll later!!!

Jess_E

200 people easy. The LA pre was madness. Lucky this will be in a larger room of the hotel, i still am imagining what kind of delays we could end up getting into. -_-;;

Well, it's still going to be an awesome event, don't know what i'll be running by then, but whatever it is, it'll have to be good.

Well, if people will make sure they show up early or on time with their decklists already filled out, it will help us get started as soon as possible... :)
