I can't say anything about the judges at the event, as that wasn't my call. I didn't hear the intonation of your voice or anything related to the match, so I'm not saying it wasn't a good call. I think I see the use of "I will attempt" now, as it is kind of saying to your opponent "Hey, you're going to power spray me."

Either way, this card definitely has added to the play of the game and has proven annoying for players AND judges alike.
 
Wow. No one has said Gardevoir SW/ Gallade SW. I love them though... Most hated might be Regigigas. Sacrifice. Sacrifice. Sacrifice. Sure you get a prize, but it DOESN'T DIE! Mesprit is another hated card though...

Oh I totally agree. Gallade can really be nasty. First by reducing your pokemon to 50 HP then forcing you to switch, then if this continues your whole bench could be at 50 HP and then all your opponent has to do is finish them off with Psychic Blade. And Regi oi! Espessally when its the one from LA underneath. Then it's the healing beast of the game. And Garivior X SW Again annoying if your facing it. Or playing it.
 
I find Regigigas meh, but maybe because I can heal off the Giga Blaster damage.

As for most annoying card I've faced, I'd say Gardevoir ex from Dragon Frontiers.

I couldn't stand how many Imprison counters my opponent was throwing around, and I couldn't do anything.
 
I've always wanted that Gardivoir. And that's the second post we've posted within the same hour on threads that we have out thumbs in.

My situation was recently explained to me more.
I supposedly said "Hmm i think I will use cosmic power"
which is a more sketchy statement.
I still hate power spray because that statement wouldnt exist with out power spray

Power Spray is a porrly thought out card, so that does annoy me. Most annoying is going to have to be Dialga G Lv.x at the moment though, makes so many amazing decks unplayable.

A. No, the effect is only on 'Koga's Ditto', so if Ditto copies something else and is no longer a 'Koga's Ditto' the effect is gone. The [example of] Swords Dance refers to AN ATTACK; the self-referencing kicks in. The Giant Growth refers TO the Koga's Ditto which Ditto COULD be copying BUT when Ditto Transforms it takes the new HP of the Pokémon it copies!!! Transform does NOT change any attack effects like the Swords Dance so that remains. (Jan 18, 2001 WotC Chat, Q62a & Q20b & Q69b)

Q. If you use a Lt. Surge trainer to play Ditto from your hand to the Active spot, and he is facing a Pokémon with a Pokémon Power that activates when the Pokémon is "played from your hand", will Ditto be able to use that Power?
A. No you wouldn't, it's put into play as Ditto, then Ditto's power activates [when it is an Active Pokemon]. (Feb 1, 2001 WotC Chat, Q33)

Fossil Set Ditto was the cause of many a rulings headache. I loved to play it in my deck, but only because it was such a nuisance.
 
Have you guys forgot about Pidgiot? You know, the one that let you serch your deck for anything. That thing was really anoying to play against.
 
I have a few:

- Riolu DP. Didn't this card rip its way through the Grinder in '07, undefeated or something? Ugh..

- SW Absol before Claydol made its way into the format. It was random, it was game-breaking, and there existed nothing to really help you set up.

- Cessation Crystal/Windstorm. These two cards single-handedly made Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies, and Stadiums absolutely worthless (of course, not when they were combined).
 
Well since Erik posted, I'm going with Mewtwo Delta and Rayquaza*, Don't know if it was you or your brother but Worlds 06 round 2. Anyways it was bad.

Cards that I loath:

Unown G when attached. It makes the Pokemon that it's attached to almost invincible.
Macheap SF. A body builder that physicly assualts and traumatizes Baby and Basic Pokemon..... >_>
Mesptrit LA with SSU. When you are deprived from Powers several turns because your opponent lucksaks mutliple heads with SSU.
Absol SW. I know it kills G decks but when the opponent lucksacs every trainer you have in your hand turn after turn, then you might as well give up.

I think it was my brother. What were you playing? We pulled that combo on quite a few people that weekend. It was a little more respectable than something like a T1 Riolu donk on a Holon's Castform, but man it's frustrating when someone takes like 6 prizes in one turn. :frown:

Speaking of which, how could I forget my number 1 most hated card ever?! FR/LG Pidgey! :lol:

I was playing LBS, basically I was in full control of the game with a Steelix Ex active and he just couldn't get anything going before I sniped it. He was smart though and protected his Dragonites with real Metals so I couldn't snipe them so instead I went after the Metagrosses there was less than 3 Min left and I was up 3-6 on prizes he nothing in play that could threaten me but he did have 3 energy. Basically time was called on his turn and he got the combo off KO the Steelix Ex and a Lugia Ex on the Bench for 4 prizes. I wanted to cry.

Yeah, that was my brother. That same round (or maybe it was round 3) I took 6 prizes in one turn against Ross Cawthon's DragTrode list (KO'ing 3 Sneasel ex's). I was watching your game from the sideline, and I thought for sure Kevin would lose. I felt bad for him until he played a Holon Mentor on the last turn; then, I felt even worse for you. Eh, that combo was so messed up. So many decks folded to a Desert Ruins + Holy Star. Flariados, Mewtric, LBS (after a few turns of Desert Ruins), DragTrode, etc.

To stay on topic, I think a lot of people will agree with me that many T2 decks have cards that probably drive people crazy, cards such as: TRR Dark Slowking, MT Kricketune, LM Banette, DX Lunatone, and the newest addition, PL Dialga G.
