Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Cards that just drive you out of you minds. Which cards just drive you CRAZY?

Unown G. It is the unremovable tool card. Nothing can get rid of it. I hope that they will come out with some kind of trainer that discards tools.

Well actually there is someting that can, but the problem is it is a Crystal Gardians card. It's called Windstorm. Not only does it take out Poketools but Stadiums as well.:thumb:

Or, you can wait until the set set and play Hippowdon. Hippowdon uses a power and takes the Unown G's off

I'll go old school and say Team Rocket's Trap. That plus Rocket's Sneak Attack plus Impostor Oak's Revenge gave the opponent a 0 card hand (or 1, if they didn't have a trainer in the 4 from POR), meaning that unless a Professor Oak was topdecked quickly, the opponent would be stuck doing nothing but drawing/passing and waiting to be benched by some quick Electabuzz/Rocket's Zapdos/Promo Mewtwo/Sneasel etc..

Right now, Power Spray is definitely up there. I love using it and hate getting denied by it, especially when the Power that is being negated is a come-into-play Power like Time Walk or Set Up. Dialga G is also up there. The level X is a great card, both as an attacker and for its Body, but it is really early Deafens that win games. Well, early or at certain critical times against decks such as AMU (Remove Lost a leveled up Pixie for 80, then next turn drop a Crobat G and kill it (along with a counter stadium if they've got Snowpoint in play), followed by a Deafen to prevent them from ever bringing it back from the discard).

Hippowdon LV.X in (hopefully) the next set get's rid off it with a come-into-play Poke-Power.
WEEE!!! *Jumps up and down like a small child*

Yes, I know about windstorm, but I can't take it to a tourney. Unown G is unremovable in this format.

I don't see how jumping up and down like a little child about a come-into-play Poke-Power is justified with Mesprit and Power Spray being around. Especially with more SP Pokemon coming our way. Hippowdon LV.X is good, but overrated.

Yeah that is one problem about Power spray. If I'm playing Arcanine then big problem. And yeah I know about the resrictions on formats. That is why I said "the problem is".

It is actually quite interesting that I have more of a problem with Dialga Lv. G Lv. X than I do with Power Spray. I feel that Dialga G and it's Lv. X counter part should be banned, it is way too versatile and is just a big huge tank. The fire weakness doesn't do too much if there is no fire that is able to be played and win. :frown:

Drew

Well what about Magmotar SW? I like it. In fact have 2 of 'em. It is a really good card. Dailga G Lv. X Maybe it should be banned. IDK.

Dialga G, with or without the LV.X, combined with 4 Mesprit and 4 Power Spray is a deck you don't want to face. It's annoying as **** to beat. Yeah, so okay, they have to use something else then Deafen to KO something. But even without the Trainer and Supporter Lock, they have had their complete set up while your puny Pokes die an awful painful death.

The no Poke-Body part is annoying, but Powers are so much more versatile and useful that being deprived of them, can really screw decks over. It's like G&G but worse.

annoying: Cursed Stone and cessation crystal. Uggg, they shut down all powers. Ya can't do a thing.
*grumble, grumble*
I'm so glad they're gone. :frown:

After this thread and seeing how many people it annoys maybe Daigla G and it's X counterpart maybe it will be banned, but as many people who hate it would love to play it, What a paradox. Oh and the fact they made it avalible a tin card makes it only a question of money and avalability, to get. Not luck.

That's not Dialga G Lvl. X. Look again.

Meh. I'm just glad there'll be something in the format to get rid of the darn thing. But, yeah, I forgot about power locking.

Kaboutops141 are you talking Ender's Game slang? What is so horrible about Mesprit LA? And ApachePrime that Dailga G Lv. X is the only Dialga Lv. X in the Platinum set. So what else is there? It's not as if I'll be able to find out any time soon.
